Hello :)

I have a question about GBAATM patched games:

- Super Mario World - Super Mario Advance 2 US
- Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros.3 US
- Metal Slug Advance US

I have tried it on Flashcart (R4 clone(s) with Ys Menu 7.05 + 7.06) + TWiLight Menu til 6.8.3.
After the GAME BOY Logo comes a white screen and thats it.
The patched Games works with an EZ Flash IV on an GBA SP and an DS Lite.:yaysp::yaynds:

IS there a way to work ? Thank you.:)
I know that the (E) versions from my No-Intro Romset do work. Make sure there is no Intro attached.

Interesting, you would expect your own dumps of official cartridges to be equal to the no-intro ones.

It´s the first time i´ve use cheats on GBA Games for the GBA Runner.I like the Super Mario games but at the end they are too difficult for me,an old man.:)

And on the DSi XL its a little bit easier for me to "see".:P

Status:

I get the no intro versions US and EUR from Super Mario Advance 2 (AGB-AA2E-USA and AGB-AA2P-EUR).
Both worked GBAATM patched perfectly on EZ Flash IV,sadly not on GBA Runner.

- I´ve checked the Roms with GBA Tool Advance all ok,CRC 5206880A and FCFEF343)
- I´ve tried SRAM Patch with GBA Tool Advance,both roms workes with EZ Flash IV sadly not with GBA Runner

Do you have any idea what i possibly made wrong ?

I´ve reduced to 1 Cheat (Lives).
Tried with/without cheat on/off,with/without trainer menu......
Tried with various GBA Runner versions (arm7/arm8/dldi/wramichache)
Tried in GBA Tool Advance SRAM Patcher/Reboot/Sleep

I´ve been out of options.:blink:

The cheats add code to the rom that are not supported. Gericom will probably say the same.

If it not works then its good.I do not know IF it works.

Maybe i can "trial by error" around with the GBAATM options RAM to use and deadbeef game with an emulator.:wacko:

I have a R4I RTS 3DS Revolution and i can't figure out why GBARunner2 isn't working... When it's launched, a white screen appears with "TEST" writed on the bottom screen.
Wood_R4iGold V1.64 is installed as primary kernel on my R4.
 
I managed to run Metroid Fusion on Commit 6522414 (1/11/2018), arm9 version. I played on pc up to the second save starion and transfered thar save to gbarunner2. It has some loading issues (freezes for like 5 seconds) between some doors (large rooms, small rooms, seems random) and the ocasional sound glitch (mainly after saving), but works flawlessly otherwise.

DSLite, r4i-sdhc clone running YSMenu as kernel
 
Well i didn't see the message about latest version ! :lol:
So i tried commit f89fac5 (arm7, 2018/07/10) and it worked.

It locks itself up again in the navigation room, right after you're debriefed and are supposed to head from sector 2 to sector 4. Black screen but the briefing music still plays.

Edit: I've done it on the pc and I'm now able to move forward

it works well on my R4 but I have a R4 clone too and I would like to known if someone have managed to run it on an Edge Flash card (version 2.3)

Try loading YS menu before gbarunner2, that worked for me on this clone firmware before I switched to YS Menu alone
 
I think YS Menu isn't compatible with Edge because when i try to load GbaRunner.nds or whatever .nds file through YS Menu i get "Unsupported DLDI Name" error....
 
I've been playing Minish Cap and Im almost finished with the game, but the game restarts when ever I reach the first tornado in Dark Hyrule Castle. Help would be appreciated. Sorry if this question has been asked before.
