Are you using a 3ds/dsi or an old ds? Also what is printed on this red screen? It doesn´t work with my r4i-gold.eu . I get a red screen
Take a look at the steps from the First Page again. Maybe you missed something.New here so could very well be making a simple mistake. An updated tutorial would be great
Using an original 3DS XL with R4I RTS 3DS card. GBARunner2 loads up but the rom won't load. Just stays on a red screen and says LOADN on the bottom screen in the corner.
Thanks in advance!
Done everything instructed on the first post multiple times. Also compiled the repo myself and tried that, nothing.Take a look at the steps from the First Page again. Maybe you missed something.
You could try to boot with DSOrganizeDone everything instructed on the first post multiple times. Also compiled the repo myself and tried that, nothing.
I can chose to load the rom, then I just get a red top screen with "LOADN IO Library" on the bottom screen.
Is there a certain .nds file I should be using?
Just tried that. If I do a standard launch I just get white screens, gbarunner2 doesn't even start up nowYou could try to boot with DSOrganize
I've noticed nothing will launch using DSOrganize either so could also be a problem with thatJust tried that. If I do a standard launch I just get white screens, gbarunner2 doesn't even start up now
If I try an alternative launch I just get "Initializing FAT. Interface: DLDI. For some reason, the file was not loadable"
I was just thinking that maybe a different firmware could help. Take a look at the Retrofan Update Release page for an alternative Firmware for your Flashcard.I've noticed nothing will launch using DSOrganize either so could also be a problem with that
Never even thought of that actually! My card is supported so I'll give it a go nowI was just thinking that maybe a different firmware could help. Take a look at the Retrofan Update Release page for an alternative Firmware for your Flashcard.
Okay, got some progress now! Running GBArunner2.nds through YSMenu has now given me two white screens, bottom one saying "OK DLDI(boyakkey ver.)" after loading. That's as far as it goes thoughNever even thought of that actually! My card is supported so I'll give it a go now
The latest master. GBARunner2-master.nds. compiled it myself from the repoJust Curious. Are you using the latest master or the arm7 branch? Cause the arm7 branch doesnt´t work currently.
Honest don't use too many Homebrew, got a GBC emulator that runs fine and all my normal NDS games work as intended.Hm.. How about DS Homebrew, Emulators, Games. Are they working? This could be a start.
There could be an Intro attached to your Rom. Try the rom with an emulator to see if it has one. You can remove it gbata.Honest don't use too many Homebrew, got a GBC emulator that runs fine and all my normal NDS games work as intended.
I just reformatted my SD card yet again and installed YSMenu again and for whatever reason now I'm getting to the bios in GBArunner2! It loops, but it's there aha
Tried that, now after the bios boot i get "UNDF" on the bottom screen. Same when I try to SRAM patch the rom alsoThere could be an Intro attached to your Rom. Try the rom with an emulator to see if it has one. You can remove it gbata.
Try a game that is known to work. Mario Kart Super Circuit for exampleTried that, now after the bios boot i get "UNDF" on the bottom screen. Same when I try to SRAM patch the rom also
