Change the resolution or aspect ratio in the emulator you're using, and see if it still displays those bars. Also is the game runs full speed, or atleast smooth? Or are you using injects? You could also change the rom. Rom Hacks could also throw some emulators off.

Injects run natively, as the N3DS has GBA compatible hardware (due to DS mode being a thing) all roms should work as long as they are clean dumps and not a broken one

How large is your SD card? If it is 128 GB, then it needs to be formatted with 64k clusters; if it is larger than that, then there is nothing you can do. GBA games are pretty much the main thing that does not work properly with very large cards.

If he's using a rom hack inject, that could mess things up, though i'm not sure if that's case or not here.

Played a little Portal way back, but didn't care for it. Should give it another go.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Oh god, Portal. I got stuck in the middle of making a portal on a wall, and trying not die in the pit. Can't remember what level it was, but this was a decade ago. It just feels too difficult.

First few levels you know what you're supposed to do, but afterwards, they don't tell you otherwise, you have to memorize everything.

They should've continued making Rabbids games before they fall off the earth. If Nintendo has Super Mario, then Rabbids should be their mascot for all their games. Make a lot of money.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Skelletonike, Valhalla was pretty good, slow at first but gets better as goes. Not quite as good as Origins or Odyssey tho, imo
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
The game has so many options, many pointless, but no option to change the audio settings? I like when I can put the sound to work better with a soundbar or stereo equipment, I think previous games had it? Weird

I really like origins for the world itself.
