Hacking Gateway Vs Smea exploit!?

I have a question, that I didn't see answered.

Could you just stick Cubic Ninja on the GW card and run the exploit? I don't personally see why you wouldn't be able to, but it's safer to ask than assume.

Would we really need to? Doesn't running the ROP exploit allow running unsigned code? Gateway would probably just need to find a way to install the homebrew launcher program and it probably would run homebrew.

Buying GW and running Cubic Ninja through it to run the exploit and install HBC.

I don't know enough to comment on the needs of it, but it never hurts to have options. Which is why I was wondering if it would be possible.

Again, I don't know enough about this stuff to say yes. However, from just casually looking at the situation, I don't see why not, unless the code used for the exploit was some how lost when turned into a scene release. I guess we'll only really be able to know once the exploit is released and someone tries it for themselves.

I wonder if it's a save exploit how does it run the exploit on the SD card? normally you need to load the exploit on the card correct?

I'm going to go the route of running the exploit using Gateway first to load Cubic Ninja.

Unfortunately since I'm in China for the time being and getting a retail copy of a North American game can be expensive or sometimes near impossible. If I had been back home this would have been as easy as stopping by a Gamestop or something. Hopefully this method of using a flashcard copy of the game is valid.
