All I did was post another version of the same meme that had already been posted, also on the thread topic, and you took offense because it depicts the EU as a bearded transgender marshmallow person. You are the one who insisted on steering the thread into this stupid shit. But if you cast aspersions against another member as you did here and many times in the past (you're an atrocious pos, btw, and we can openly discuss why again if you want to revisit that), well I don't just cower and shrink. If you had a rational emotional response, instead of trans-hysteria, that picture wouldn't have triggered you so much. Why do transgenders have no sense of humor, only a sense of cruelty and viciousness? So fragile.

I call it, letting people live how they want to live. The overwhelming majority of trans people (tanswomen and transmen) are decent people living their lives without hurting anyone.

So why should I have any beef with them? And why are you so fucking obsessed with them?

I think any person who votes for a man with multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault, , would be the person who lacks basic awareness.

IT just gonna whip out some far right nonsense, especially considering that the current US government has purposefully stopped collecting data that makes it look bad. Plenty of other users have engaged in good faith and IT decided to ramble first about pro capita then about how median income isn't relevant.

What can I say? You must've missed this thread: the USA is 40 trillion dollar in debt, which has some scary repercussions that I lay out therein (you spend more on paying interest than on the army, for example).

That the US poverty rate has decreased is good, obviously. But this whole "if Canada starts getting cozy with the EU, we'll halt all trade with the EU!!"-rhetoric can put a serious halt on that already wobbly economy you have.

That's very possible. Many countries use import tariffs to protect the own market (my boss has been to China. He says that if we - Belgium or even the EU - would allow it, their car market would completely usurp ours). But like you said: "some", and for reasons to protect the internal market. But this like'taxes on hockey sticks'... Seriously?

As it is, the tariffs on Canada not only covers most goods, but it isn't to protect the internal market either. I hadn't blabbered about it in the OP, but those "trade negotiations" involved curbed possibility for Canada to trade with other countries and even language restrictions on Canada's internal market (meaning: they weren't allowed to put French labels on their own goods).
And, again, the rhetoric makes the difference. It's not "two can play". Did Carney (or Trudeau, for that matter) ever make memes about the USA becoming provinces of Canada? Did they address Trump as "governor"? Did they have their diplomats send out letters on what requirements the states had to fulfill to become a part of Canada? And that's not even about that more recent mention that Canada-EU alliance is "a hostile move" toward the USA.

Bubble Wrap's link is kinda meaningless anyway as it only focuses on income slightly increasing and does not factor in that the cost of necessary goods have gone up significantly thanks to Trump tarrifs and the Trump Iran war.

Is the census bureau even a reliable metric under this administration? The takeaway here is that the measurement of poverty in the US has not been adjusted for the cost of living.
