Hacking Gateway 3DS - First 3DS flash card?!

A flashcart because they can't develop for the SD card slot or a flash cart so they can charge people for it unlike the hackmii installer on a Wii or Wii U that takes advantage of the SD card slot?

From what I gathered, the cart acts as a 1-to-1 copy and as such, using the SD card (or rather the slot) is a no-go, for now at least.

But really, does it matter that much to you? I mean, if this is real, it is quite an achievement I'll admit. If anything, I guess paying would not be "wrong" since they did put in effort to bring this to light. But I digress. Let's not turn this into a "Is piracy good/bad"-type of thread LOL

Well, that guy at ps3 crunch say it does have custom code, and the video we saw is an "earlier footage" when the loader was still being coded, hence they could only boot 1 game per sd card.

why would the actually manufactures site not post this new information also then?
and why would they show so called old footage, maybe hes just trying to pull people to his site

It's all down to speculation until we learn more of it.
But I wouldn't dismiss any possibility yet.

without the 3DS brew team releasing the method this is all we are likely to get

well, at least im kinda convinced i think. And regarding the impractical sd card thingie, i could care less. In denmark these 3ds games are expensive as a space shuttle, where as the sd card are roaming the streets day and night, like a prostitute just waiting to get picked up. I'm excited ohhhh yeahhhhh

And how exactly do you propose Nintendo block a cart which the 3DS sees as a 1:1 clone, that is, it sees it as a legit cart? Magic?

No, it's just a 1:1 clone with switchable memory cards, same as a retail cart basically. This leads to nowhere and is only for playing "backups".
