Why are you so sure ? Obviously we cannot be sure of anything, but GaryOpa also posted this:
And for those asking, it is 'early video' before the 'game manager' was finished in coding by the homebrew developers, reason for 3 microsd one for each rom.
and
and we already have confirmed from some old-school Nintendo DS homebrew developers that they might be in the near future even some cool new unique 'homebrew' games, and most likely even better 'emulators' now that the 3DS has been fully unlock
As I mentioned, we cannot be sure of anything, but I don't think we can already tell that it's NOT going to allow homebrew, do we?

if this is real i would most likey wait for a 2nd gen that will allow mutiple roms on 1 micro sd or if you chould have 1 to 6 3ds roms on it i would get it

Well for what it's worth I couldn't fault the video. Except for THOSE NAILS.

Everything looks pretty consistent. There's obviously a working microSD slot in the card. The last two times you can see the menu change after the card is inserted, that would take a lot of effort to fake. The paper, on the table, seems to move consistently without any big jumps when the card is inserted or removed.

Ok guys, I don't give a shit about the games or sd cards shenanigans, I just want someone to at least speculate with me:

1. This is confirmed legit, right?
2. Will this help the brewers somehow?
3. This is steaming hot news or what? Do our friends in 3dbrew.org already acknowledged that?

Aaaaand the flood of noobs begins...

One thing is for sure: In the past hour, this has already attained more credibility than all the other so called hacks.

How do you propose homebrew be developed and executed when there is no SDK publicly available and there is no way to sign the files?

Does anybody think this exploit would work with an SD card in the SD card slot, rather than be packaged as a reDRM flash cart?

Well lack of way to develop homebrew is not the same thing as the unability of the cart to run homebrew. But as You mentioned it's not very important right now as homebrewers cannot actually develop for it.

I'm not an expert but I believe they went for a flashcart to maximize compatibility and avoid nintendo possibly patching it. Hacking the SD Slot would be the most obvious way so I guess Nintendo triple-locked it, maybe even more than the flashcart slot. Maybe now people will know better about the inner workings of the 3DS and we might see a SD Slot hack but that's extremely unlikely and we should be rejoicing with what we already have.

I don't think so.
Pretty unlikely for this to ever happen.

A flashcart because they can't develop for the SD card slot or a flash cart so they can charge people for it unlike the hackmii installer on a Wii or Wii U that takes advantage of the SD card slot?

wont happen, its not and exploit, its just a way to make Pirated 3DS carts, and these wont be cheap
its like when you clone a Music CD, you cant change any data, its just a cheaper knockoff version

wont happen either
its a clone, any changes like you want are code changes so CANNOT happen
only thing they could do would be to have multiple MicroSD slots and a switch, but the Save data would be wiped each time unless you dumped it between switches
which doesnt work, they could do a save switch also, but would be costly
this i would estimate cost at ALOT!

Well, that guy at ps3 crunch say it does have custom code, and the video we saw is an "earlier footage" when the loader was still being coded, hence they could only boot 1 game per sd card.
