So I guess it's safe to say the tease video was bs all along to sell more carts and preventing people from going sky3ds.

Doesn't seem to be the same exploit as shown in the video like iv said all this time. I'm glad I went sky3ds but I wish I did It sooner, if I was solely a Gateway user id feel pissed and crushed right now, I'm kinda pissied this is what they gave us.

I guess sky3ds is still the best flashcard for the ne3ds but gateway has room to vastly improve the n3ds gateway support. I don't think I'm going to install this on my n3ds I don't want to risk brick till yall have tested it and no bricks are reported, there were no leaks this time that leads me to belive this hasn't been well tested by many people.

My suggestion if you don't have a nand mod then just wait a few days or upto a week before jumping on the bandwagon.

wtf are you stupid, they didn't show how they got into gw mode, it was already in gw mode.

It seem people have problems reading.

They just released what they have now, and are still working on alternative entrypoints for New 3DS.

Or would you rather wait indefinitely?

Cubic Ninja will be their next entrypoint, which will probably just work like Ninjhax (scan a QR code and no save dongle needed)

Why don't they just find a browser exploit like they did for the old 3ds. Now that the Japanese N3DS's that don't have internet can use Ocarina of time and cubic ninja, then it won't be a problem for them.

This is implying that finding exploits is simple.

holy shit the game is expensive. Pretty sure my cousin owns it but he lives an hour a way and i'm not going to drive to pick it up

I'll wait since I already own Cubic Ninja and I have an old 3ds and 3ds xl in the meantime...

    Exactly.

Thor from "Pirate Software" said its just better to pirate the game than buy from a keyshop if you care about the devs

devs don't get hit with the chargebacks, the keys are free to generate

Except he said the DEVS get hits with the chargeback cost

since the key gets bought with a stolen credit card
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
there's nothing to charge back because the keys don't cost them money to generate in the first place
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If the game has a crack sure
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most these crack sites have dead links anymore or the crack don't even work
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
@The Real Jdbye What don't you get? If someone use a stolen creditcard. Then sell said key on G2A. If I the dev sold the game key, I will get the charge back cost. That's how it works, it doesn't matter if I generate 300 keys if 300 of them are bought with stolen credit cards. I never said it was on Steam, but its the dev that gets hit. There is a ton of stories out there if you google it.
