Trading with GameYob is not possible. But trading with the Virtual Console releases for the 3DS is indeed possible.
On the DSI... I guess... you better use cheat codes... like "encounter any pokemon in the wild"

Do you know how to help or not?
The bios.bin goes to the Roms folder. If I'm not mistaken, GameYob searches the files on the roms folder.
Of course, you have to enable both on the emulator in order for them to work.

But Do I still need to change the .ini file at all?

No?
I don't remember changing any files.

On the emulator, I think it says: "Enable BIOS emulation" or something like that.
Last time I used Gameyob was in 2015 so my memory is fading
"Enable BIOS emulation"?? Ive never seem that option before, all ive seen relative to that is the GB modes section in the emulator

Sorry, ive been trying to figure this out for hours. Is there any way you can help?

Go to BiosFile and set the route to the Bios files.
Which is why I said: Put the bios files on your roms folder.
I did that, and it still doesnt work

Dude... like literally the answer to your problem is in the Original Post?

What does "GBC Bios" mean?
If you have the corresponding "gbc_bios.bin" file in your ROM directory (you can find it on google), you can turn this option on to get colorized Gameboy games like you you would have if you were playing them on GBC hardware. The file's location can also be specified in “gameyob.ini”. A prime example is Metroid II: Return of Samus, which gets individual palettes for Samus, enemies and items instead of being monochromatic.

On the gameyob.ini file there's NO specified route for the bios file...
So, open up the gameyob.ini file and set the route to your roms folder.
Then, launch gameyob and go to BiosFile and enable it.

It should work.

What does GBC MODE = 2 means?
You're completely right, it seems that there's a problem. At least I can't see anything wrong with your settup.
Would you like to try to re-install the homebrew to see if this fixes the problem?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

wait... why is there not a rompath set?

Could that be the culprit?

Well... I think it might be because... the rompath is empty, and you've set the Bios file to the path of your roms.
Try it before you "reinstall" Gameyob.

Nope,didn't do anything
This is very strange.
Ok pal... Still trying to help.
First: Delete the gbc_bios.bin from the line: biosfile=/roms/Gameboy/gbc_bios.bin and you should get: biosfile=/roms/Gameboy/
and try again.

If this doesn't work, then I don't know what might be causing your troubles.
Delete Gameyob from your DSi (if you're using a flashcard just delete the homebre file) and all related files to Gameyob, except your roms.
Download the bios files again, and make sure they're the good ones. I can't give links... but making a quick search and clicking on a wowsite will do.
Set the files on the gameyob.ini for your roms, and set the same path for your bios file.
