Gaming Gameboy Advance SP Frontlight?

I just replaced the console's shell and screen bezel and my frontlight doesn't luminate the whole screen! Where should the frontlight be or is there another problem?

I was able to change out my GBA SP frontlit shell to a black one no prob. I think there may be a Youtube video tutorial so maybe search there...
