Im stuck in the part where I need to kill Greed , But his blue or something and I can't hit em.. what do I do?

Ok here's what you do when he's invulnerable lure him onto the Alchemy circle and do something (sorry can't quite recall how to do it exactly it might be touching those floating symbols), but the main point is when you that something while in the circle he'll become vulnerable again so you can attack him.

By the way what is this 'bump' you mentioned? I have come across it sometimes, but I don't quite understand it.

you have to make sure he is in the large alchemy circle when he changes or you can't hit him. I forgot what he turns to when hes in since I haven't played the game for a while.
