Hi,
for fun and repair I bought some damaged Wiis. One of them starts with a black screen. There is no Priiloader, no BootMii and of course no nand backup. When I use SaveMiiFrii it shows 4.3E. What are my possibilities? Using a 4.3K game?

Thanks

BlueBomb is an exploit that takes advantage of a flaw in the Wii and Wii mini’s Bluetooth libraries. Although it is the only exploit that works for the Wii mini, BlueBomb can run on the original Wii as well. This exploit also enables recovery from certain bricks, such as a banner brick.

If you can boot into ANY game, you might be able to launch the bluebomb exploit. So even if on the latest firmware or if you don't have a disc with an update on it, you may be able to recover.

By default bluebomb is loaded from the system menu, but I think it might be able to be loaded via a game as well, I'm just not certain if small tweaks to the procedure and/or "stage" code would be necessary.

Edit: I didn't see the post above until just now, but it's a good sign that many of us are thinking bluebomb could work in this situation

How should I boot a game? I can see the version number but nothing happens when I insert a disc.
I have a Wasabi DX, is it possible to set it on Autoboot via the jumpers?

Look at these images taken from SaveMii website:

Branch D (where the Wii when you turn on it just shows a black screen):

Branch D: Is really the Bluetooth module defective if the version number is shown after using Savemiifrii?
If the Wii boots after inserting the SaveMii dongle in GC memory card slot, then yes, the defective (or broken) Bluetooth module is the cause.

You mean the version shown on the down right part of the screen, right?

That means it entered the recovery mode. Didn't boot all the way to SysMenu but still, technically booted. After all that's what SaveMii does.

So, following that flow chart, The defective bluetooth module indeed seems like the culprit here.
