i think the reason the update bricked it is if this is a old tech demo 3DS, it probably can't handle all the stuff the actually 3DS want's. Maybe try to downgrade it to 1.0.

Nah not update like this just update it to an A bit newer fimrware from 2011 so I could dump the CIA

Once ntrboothax is released, if it works on this type of 3DS, then you might be able to unbrick it without a hardware mod (by just using a ds flashcart).

It's like I was reading a humongous sentence full of mistakes, and I have no trouble reading English, thank you very much. I'm not from the USA (didn't enter my real country) and English is my third language, but I speak and read it very well.
