N3ds 10.3 downgrade to 9.2 successfull HOWEVER my nand.bin turned out to be corrupt for some reason and I wasn't able to restore any of my data.. so yeah.

I've done two old 3ds's, both from 10.3 to 9.2. Both successful the first time.

I downgraded 2 o3DS from 9.9E and 10.3E to 9.2E using sysUpdater and a n3ds from 10.3 to 9.2 with SafeSysUpdater.
No softbrick, no incomplete downgrade, only a pain to get the memchunkhax2 hook on the ARM11 kernel.

Only people with a success downgrade... If you have a few seconds,answer on the poll your console model and if you downgraded correctly the first time or you had a soft-brick. (Recoverable via recovery menu)

You should make the results viewable. I haven't downgraded any 3DSes but I still want to see the results and I don't want to make a trash vote just to do so.

personally i downgraded my n3dsxl twice, first time i think it didn't downgrade fully as i couldn't install cias on my emunand. Second time it worked

Tried to downgrade my o3DS a few times, always resulted in a softbrick. In the end, formatting my 3DS fixed it and the downgrade succeeded.

2 / N3DS XL 9.8 -> 9.2 Softbricks then updated to 10.3 and it was successful.

Downgraded 1 O3DS (9.9) and 2 N3DSXL (9.6 and 10.3) with SysUpdater (never used Safe) and it worked perfectly first time. No soft bricks.

Softbricked 1 or more times before DG: 9.8%

I recommend look the results to determine if the risk its reliable or must wait.

At this point, I'm confident enough to say that there is no risk in downgrading if the update files you downloaded are legitimate. Check that they match your 3ds model, check their md5 sum, make sure they copy to the microSD completely and make sure to unmount your microsd before you remove it from the computer. Run FTBRONY before sysupdater with every attempt. I guarantee you will downgrade successfully if you take these precautions.

O3ds on 10.2 tried a couple times using sysupdater. Failed to get cia information. Found a modded version by "Julian...someone" used that instead. Booted through menuhax. No tricks like wifi switching etc. Started first time with this version. After being distracted by my little boy came back to a rebooted homemenu screen version 9.2. SUCCESS!
