Still seeing some cases of vertices explosion - not only in the obvious SoulCalibur (w/ threading, per-strip and per-triangle sorting, etc.), but also in Phantasy Star Online (the entire screen is vertices, though fenagling the camera can reveal the actual graphics behind it being fine with enough tenacity). However, Dynamite Cop and Dead or Alive 2 are essentially flawless - the only times it slows down seemingly comes up when loading a lot of data from .CHD rips, as DOA2's slight hitching is only ever temporary and not induced by the actual gameplay. I COULD try out online, but heck if I'm gonna struggle with that, what with PSO looking the way it does atm.

Slashout though, still kiiiiinda slow no matter what. And Dolphin Blue much the same as before. But it's otherwise perfect. I'm rather impressed how well this manages to work under stock clocks.

DOA2 is full speed? And that's one of the more demanding 3D games that I've personally tried on an ODroid XU4!

First things first: holy shit this works wonders. I tested Rayman 2 and it ran great. Also played Rez but it oscilated a lot between 25 and 60 fps. Very impressive regardless.

Is native saving implemented though? I thought Rayman 2 had an auto-save feature after every level, but upon reentering the game, no save file. Just wanna know it that's on the game, Flycast or the user.

The Sonic Adventure 60 fps patch runs beautifully on Flycast.. (international version)
(thanks to @Esppiral from the Reicast thread) :)

If you happen to have Sonic Adventure International and whant to play Sonic Adventure in Widescreen and 60 fps patch the game with the following codes.

60 fps code.
Find
3C 68 75 8C 40 68 75 8C 44 68 75 8C 48 68 75 8C 30 19 05 8C 84 64 60 8C 4A 5C 05 8C BC E3 1B 8C 40 46 64 8C 52 5C 05 8C EE 29 60 8C 5C 19 8A 8C
Replace
0C 68 75 8C 40 68 75 8C 44 68 75 8C 48 68 75 8C 30 19 05 8C 84 64 60 8C 4A 5C 05 8C BC E3 1B 8C 40 46 64 8C 52 5C 05 8C EE 29 60 8C 5C 19 8A 8C

Find
44 68 75 8C 0C E2 19 8C 84 65 75 8C 12 C2 06 8C 16 19 05 8C 1A A5 08 8C 84 A7 08 8C 00 40 E7 44 00 09 00 09 D0 63 05 E2 23 33 01 8B 01 7C A0 2D
Replace
38 DD 10 8C 0C E2 19 8C 84 65 75 8C 12 C2 06 8C 16 19 05 8C 1A A5 08 8C 84 A7 08 8C 00 40 E7 44 00 09 00 09 D0 63 05 E2 23 33 01 8B 01 7C A0 2D

Widescreen code.
FIND
24118A8C 5C118A8C 50118A8C 58118A8C

REPLACE
30118A8C 44231E8C 50118A8C 58118A8C

It has some minor problems, some 2D elements (like shadows) on screen are misplaced and the cutscenes play at 2x speed but if you've beaten the game a thousand times, like me and want to replay the stages the gameplay runs just fine at 1x speed @60 fps and Widescreen.

Video in action.

Cheers.

Only tried the 60fps part not the Widescreen bit but should work well too :)

Make sure you set up the VMUs properly. The best thing to do is go to core options and have it create a VMU for each game.

With the public release, do desktop saves work? If not, is there a way to convert memory card files to what, based on your description, I assume are .srm files?

I'm going through the process of testing every Dreamcast game. Only playing them quickly to check they work on some level and have no obvious bugs.

Between 0-A, I found only 2 issues:

90 Minutes Sega Championship Football - slow, visual glitches
Army Men Sarge’s Heroes - ‘up’ analogue direction broken

Bit early to make a compatibility list and this stage and should be unnecessary in the medium term anyway, just want to know what to keep testing.

You can do this? Is that a new option or have I just never seen it before?
It’s in the core options. You can have 8 per game, but more than 1 is excessive.

How do you do this?
Its all in my quote..
Get the International version of Sonic Adventure. (GDI)
Use hex editor on track03.bin (I use HxD hex editor) (when you use the find option make sure its set to HEX)
use the Find option and find: 3C 68 75 8C 40 68 75 8C 44 68 75 8C 48 68 75 8C 30 19 05 8C 84 64 60 8C 4A 5C 05 8C BC E3 1B 8C 40 46 64 8C 52 5C 05 8C EE 29 60 8C 5C 19 8A 8C
and replace it with: 0C 68 75 8C 40 68 75 8C 44 68 75 8C 48 68 75 8C 30 19 05 8C 84 64 60 8C 4A 5C 05 8C BC E3 1B 8C 40 46 64 8C 52 5C 05 8C EE 29 60 8C 5C 19 8A 8C

Then find: 44 68 75 8C 0C E2 19 8C 84 65 75 8C 12 C2 06 8C 16 19 05 8C 1A A5 08 8C 84 A7 08 8C 00 40 E7 44 00 09 00 09 D0 63 05 E2 23 33 01 8B 01 7C A0 2D
and replace with: 38 DD 10 8C 0C E2 19 8C 84 65 75 8C 12 C2 06 8C 16 19 05 8C 1A A5 08 8C 84 A7 08 8C 00 40 E7 44 00 09 00 09 D0 63 05 E2 23 33 01 8B 01 7C A0 2D

Save the file and your done :)

load the game and see the lovely 60fps goodness.. (you should know in game cutscenes play 2X faster after this fix..

1 - Is the International Version also in English?
2 - Afterwards, can I Convert to CHD?

Here are a couple more tests I did:

Evolution (GDI - US) - Game runs smooth as butter. Some audio chopping whenever you enter a battle but I think it also happened on DC sometimes (due to disc reading).

San Francisco Rush 2049 (GDI - US) - This one I couldn't get to work. It boots up until you got to the main menu, but then you can't select anything. Haven't tried messing with any settings yet, but I checked the controller inputs and everything seems to be OK, so I have no idea why doesn't it work.
