Hacking Firmware?

Hey there, I'd like to get the newest firmware for the M3.. so I went to this site: http://www.m3adapter.com/Downloads.htm

And I don't see any downloads there. =\ It then leads me to www.dsgogogo.com..
I very recently got the firmware off that site (with a bit of difficulty) and then just now, put on the new Advance Wars - Days of Ruin game on my M3 Simply. But, it says "Unable to read data. Switch off the DS and reinsert the Game Card."

Is that happening because I don't have the newest firmware? I think it's 1.02, is there any newer? Please help, I love Advance Wars.. lol

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

    Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
