Hacking R4 SDHC Dual-Core 2023

Hey guys, sorry for being a newbie. Recently got an R4 card, the one specified in the title, got the firmware and tried playing gba games with no success, it plays the gameboy animation and then goes into a blank white screen. Any idea of what might be going on and how to fix it? Also if anyone knows where I can get the most recent files of firmware let me know (idk if mine are the most recent).

Go for TWiLightMenu++ or YSMenu instead of using the firmware that got supplied.
