Like The Title Says, firmware.nds Wont Boot. Unless I Use A Homebrew Loader, Then It Boots But Cant Save. Then I Have To Go Though The Setup And It Wont Save The Setup Settings. My Flashcart Will Boot EVERYTHING Else. firmware.nds is On Root.

....Yeah

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Could I Set It Up On A Normal Ds? And Play It On A 3Ds?

No. Is pictochat what you're after? I believe the only way to get it on 3DS is by using the game Kanji Sonomama.

Oh, Crap. Is There A Reason Why It Wont Run?
Yeah, from my understanding it won't run because it doesn't have a save file but instead saves to the DS settings on the system itself, as the 3DS doesn't have the DS setup complete set anywhere (as it doesn't have any DS mode specific setup) the firmware will always think the setup was not yet done.

Actually, the odd thing is. The NTR Firmware SRL is able to write to NVRam. I can use it to set username, birthday and all that jazz and the changes show up in System Settings. (So you could use this to make DS username/birthday independent from 3DS username settings if you wanted)

It just doesn't real NVRam for some reason and always resets. :(
