Final Fantasy IV Released on iOS, game trailer hints to other games

I think I'd rather just have the PSP one, the DS one has quite a few issues with it and the art style is really love or hate. Also the PSP one comes with The After Years and some exclusive content to tie the original game and TAY together.

Although really I'd just want an older Final Fantasy remake that puts it in REALLY good 2D art. It might be a bit silly but it'd pay homage to the older games without putting stupid art styles on it.

I do have to admit it's rather hard to not laugh when you have chibikawaiidesu characters speaking in deep voices and talking about betrayal and junk.

And yeah the PSP's got more stuff that people seem to like. Haven't messed with any of the later stuff though.

Yeah, that's kinda what killed it. Also the battle system felt off (I know they made some changes to the difficulty and such).

I really would've liked it more if they used models similar to those in Dissidia.

It was still Yoshitaka Amano's original artwork. The DS couldn't handle high polygon models.

Actually the DS version is a full-on remake, and quite well done.

I would not doubt that FFIV will be re-released for PSP but been a port of the iOS version.

I didn't like the Square Enix artwork choice for PSP's FFs.
PSP was able to render high quality 3D models at the time, and they chose it for sprites,
and DS for 3D models.
I can't understand that. I seems that it would be much more appropriate the opposite.

I'm tempted to get an iPad for long but with FFV and maybe FF6 remade like III and IV were for the NDS, I'll fork out those 500€ for sure!!
