Gaming FFIV DS (U) Anticipation Thread

I hate the rat bastard at SE that always decides to put the SHIPPING date on release. Then every site on the intarwebs is "FF4 ON MONDAY" -- except _no_ store will have it until Wednesday. (I'm on the west coast so it's worse of course) Never happens for movies, I don't think it happens with music, why does this shit fly with video games?

Just venting a bit, I'd like to buy this game but a flash cart is the only way to have it on "Release Date" so here I wait for the dump I guess. I'm not familiar with the process, but I know for SNES Roms you had to buy some pretty $$$ equipment to dump roms, so I'm gathering that not just anyone can dump a ds cart?

No, dumping DS ROMs is pretty easy. There was some homebrew that dumped them straight to a Slot-2 cart if I remember right.

It's actually a lot easier than you think, with homebrew just about anyone can do it.
Using a cart swap you can dump it over wifi to an FTP server.

Actually, many people got a copy today. Check your local Gamecrazy, if you have one.

1hour 50 minutes till the 22nd....dumped today or dumped tomorrow..nobody knows...off to watch a movie and patiently wait....=^)

Touch screen was a bit weird. It would let your character move in cardinal direction the stylus was in, but if you touched anywhere, it wouldn't lead your character directly there like it would in an RTS.

I know they meant Tomorrow, I did that because I don't like people who expect too much of dumpers.
