Goddamnit, they could at least autosave the game for you before you walk in the first cave.

Now I have to restart from the beginning, jeez

or you could just think of it yourself.
you could save as soon as you left the castle.

mhn... I don't like how everything happens on the upperscreen now, the touchscreen controls that are left are rather.. awkward... and the interface is SO ugly. Seriously, it was not much different but much prettier in III! ;_;

Am I the only one here who's 'wait' battle system won't work? Instead of active, try putting it on 'wait' and let me know it works.

I, personally, just prefer it that way, but it seems to do absolutely nothing when I change it to 'wait'. Other people have confirmed it works, but then, some people have the same problem as me.

Same here. Both Wait and Active seem the same to me :/

Which version should i play? PSone, GBA, or DS version? As of now, I'm kinda leaning towards psone version since i haven't played psone for awhile now, and it seems like its easier? Please help thanks

the DS version is the version closest to the original storyline (lots of it was cut out originally because it wouldn't all fit onto 1 cartridge)

Yeah, it's a leason we all have to learn at some point save as often as you can when you can. I always save twice just to make sure something didn't go wrong the first time (i.e. clicking on no without noticing).

The games nice I'm not that far into the game yet, the cave where you met the sage was always a bit of a bugger, those little Gnome's(?) that cast magic they are a pain for a short time but you get used to them and they become nothing.

So far it's just a graphical update to the old game, FF3 had a lot more changes made which isn't really a bad thing. I think it's good that old games get re-released every now and again, it give's the kids a chance to experience the old classic games. The way FF3 - 4 have been remade is the best way to do it, updated graphics but basically the same game.

errr? Correct me if I am wrong, but you said DS version is closest to the original storyline... meaning that even the original game (NES version) had some story taken out of it??? And every remake besides DS (gba, wonderswan, psone) are based on simple emulation of the NES version and had no extended storyline????
