I finally got my hands on a twin famicom sharp (wanted one since i saw a video on it), and after playing some SMB3, I noticed the colors were off. After fiddling about, i decided to connect it directly to my TV just in case.

Bottom image is directly into my TV, Top is via recording hardware (I have two different ones, Dazzle DVR 100 and a Elgato HD60 with an AV2HDMI), and there's a noticable difference there. This is via composite also incase thats important. Is there some settings I could mess with, or is that just how it is when using external hardware to record? I prefer to have my recordings to be as close to the original as possible but still being the best quality I can squeeze out.

    @Jayro, That's cool. I have met feminine guys before in woman's cosplay, think one was dressed up as a character from Sword Online. Very cool to speak with. :D

    Yep, honestly so kind and refreshing. The entire convention is just FULL of the nicest people you'll ever hang with. I haven't met a rude person there yet.

    It garners around 8,000 to 10,000 people per year, fluctuating a little.

    @Jayro, I think there are some conventions here at Venezuela, but only in Caracas and I don't live there
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
    Eventhough I live in a busy city, the majority of big conventions happen in L.A. and Seattle, opposite ends from me. I'm stuck in the middle.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @Jayro, Caracas is like 77 miles away from here
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
    That's just a short drive.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @Jayro, yeah I guess
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
    America is so huge and everything is spaced out so far apart, that I feel like we just accept a 77 minute drive as short.

    @Jayro, I miss conventions a lot.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    I still go to them, but it's mostly computer-related, would love to go to Comic Con.
  • Jayro @ Jayro:
    @Xdqwerty yeah, you're definitely one of us. :3

    I love the overly-sized hoodies, ripped oversized sweaters, chokers, bracelets, skirts... But I'm
    definitely on the goth/alt side of things.
