Guys I uncovered the slamfest 99 link. Slamfest 99 is the irl smash bros live event to showcase smash bros 64 being released. The link is broken but confirmed to be the link you could have onced watched the live event on in 1999. http://media.internetbroadcast.com/nintendo/19990424/product_announcement/meta/rebroadcast.ram The link doesn't work because internetbrodcast.com is no longer a thing. according to the 1999 Nintendo website you need internet play real G2 to play it which I dont think is the case with modern web browsers. http://www.real.com/Products/player/index.html here is the download link if you want real.

RealPlayer (.RAM) files are different to (.RM). RAM files do not contain video or audio containers; but rather, they rely on an RTSP URL that redirects you to another domain hosting the video. And since the Slam Fest stream hasn't been archived, frankly it's lost to time.

This isn't remotely new or groundbreaking, people have known the Slamfest '99 broadcast link since the search began.

Even if the link was functional and we could download rebroadcast.ram, it wouldn't have changed anything...having the RAM file is like having an address to a house that was torn down 25 years ago. It only points to where something was that now doesn't exist anymore. It's not the video itself.
