Hacking Fake R4? Not sure. (pics included!)

Hey, I got an r4 a short while ago for my DSL from Amazon. It was one of those carts that was being marketed on amazon as "version 3" with SDHC compatibility. Yeah, not true...The box said that it was R4-II upgrade, so that it won't have the spring loading thing in it that has caused so many problems.
Now, I hear that some of these R4 version 2s are fakes...and I hear some say that they are real. I don't know if the one I bought is a fake or not. Can you please tell me?

And that would be the front.

I think it may be a fake, as it freezes during a particular point in the World End with you, and people with fake r4-IIs have reported this SAME problem as well.

I'm getting the Acekard 2 in the mail however, so I'm not *too* worried but I'd like to know.

Fake, the front label isn't the same and I don't recall a sticker like that on the back.
Yeah, and the box doesn't say "Upgrade" on the real one.

Yeah the sticker on the back says something like 80 (check sign) 20. It's very odd.

Well, it's only about 2-3 days until my *completely legit* Acekard 2 comes, so I'm not too worried. Might pass this onto a friend if they are willing to have it.

yup fake, I remember amazon being the only place to have the fake ones, I'd get something else before it crashes your DS

if you remove that sticker from the back and unscrew it you can compare it to the R4 hardware pictures in the reviews.

Try comparing it to the other carts pcb to see what the thing was a copy of.

The reason it looks fake is because of the label sticker.....none of the r4s say "upgrade" on them. Plus, no other r4s have that "warranty sticker." At least none of the ones I've seen.

Yep, fake IMO. I've seen plenty of v1 and v2 R4's in my time and none have had that hologram thing on the back.. plus the upgrade on the front is 100% bogus.

hmm, never heard of this "Upgrade" version...so idk...looks kinda flimsy and fake...idk, well at least your getting an acekard...im thinking of getting an acekard 2 myself...my r4 doesnt look exactly like the one shown...but it has its similarites, so i dont know...
