Puchased ezflash 4 (micro sdhc version) for my gba but could not get it to load.
Tried different kernels from here: http://www.ezflash.cn/downloads/, copied the ezfla_up.bin to the SD card root folder and power on the console with R button pressed, but update process will not start.

Message displayed:
Find ezfla_up.bin, updating

Same message appears without R button pressed or even when no sd card inserted.

Tested with 1/2/8/32gb micro sd cards, paper trick thing, formatted with FAT/FAT32, windows format and sdformatter, same error message for all.

Any idea guys? Hope I did not receive a bad cart...

That is everything I would have tried. Time to ask for a replacement if you can.

If that is going to pose problems and you are indeed in Malaysia then the EZTeam are in Shenzhen if you or someone you know decides to do a Hong Kong trip and you could possibly get it swapped there.

Ah I see, it's quite impossible to get a replacement. I'll try getting a brand new micro sd and see whether it works (last resort).
I'm considering getting another one. Any recommended websites? Looking at nds-card.com

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • NinStar @ NinStar:

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
