EWIN Flash is launching a NDS cart sized "dummy" card the DS/DSL.

- Enables sleep mode for flashed DS/L
- Can prevent dust in the NDS cart slot
- Available in 3 colors

This is perhaps the most useless thing I've ever seen out of any DS product. Obviously a money making ploy, and one that will probably fail miserably. You might as well buy Ping Pals.

i like the dust-cover idea with matching colors for my showcases but i wouldn't even consider buying one for any other purpose

I don't blame you. I bought a TC3 Pack for PS2. Was worth it. But still need to find a copy of Time Crisis 2.

Wait a minute, you sold a MARIO KART GAME?! GAAASSPPP

Ummm.... I wan't one of these.

No, seriously I do.
Anyone know where and when I could purchase one?
I can't find anything on their site but an orange M&M that looks as confused as me.

Lol this's rather dumb. Can't flashed DS's use sleep mode then?

Only with a DS card inserted. But as Opium said, who would have a DS and not a single game?

The game store had Time Crisis 3 + GunCon2 x2 on sale for 25 bucks and I wasnt playing animal crossing nor MKDS any more.... I'M SORRY!!!!!!!!!!

When you insert a ds game in the ds slot youlle cut your battery life in half. With this card youlle still have normal sleep with a flashed ds.

Does it really drain that much battery, or you're exaggerating a little bit?

On a side note:
If you have a Passcard in the DS Slot, would sleep mode still work?

Well that depends on the Passcard.
Different versions/brands do or don't allow sleep mode.
Datel's Max Media Launcher wont allow sleep mode but M3's Passcard 3 will.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
