Okay, I'm still relatively new at this and I think I am getting the hang of everything, but I'm still having a few problems.

On 3.2u with .3g and .1 as well as softchip.
I used the DvDx installer found on the homebrew browser.
I downloaded and used the Mplayer found on homebrew browser.

Maybe I am super dumb, but I cant figure out what to do to play dvds.

My other problem is with snes9xgx. I have the app and I have a dvd with an iso of a bunch of snes games on it. How do I get these games into my rom folder.

And since I'm on a roll, this is completely off topic, but I want to be able to use the wii shop channel. And I already did the ios51 installer and said no to the wii shop fix or w/e. I used emporer of canada's guide. Is there any way I can get wii shop to fix without messing anything up.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know I am a noob, but I did actually read, I just cant seem to figure it out.

not all version suppport DVD-Video, you have to find one first and then simply insert your DVD and follow the instructions

the DVD must be burned in ISO9660 format, most dvd-burning software do this by default
roms can be stored anywhere, there is no default roms path for dvd
in snes9x, there is an option to change the "Load Method", chnage it to DVD and pick "Load ROM" in the main menu

better check the snes9x readme for more details

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
