There are two themes. You can find them there (the .it files): https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/TWiLightMenu/tree/master/settings/music@RocketRobz
Where can I find sound theme from "Twilight Menu Settings" ?? I really like this music, if you can share I would appreciate it
Either wait for someone to fix the AP-fix for that game (which is unlikely, as @retrogamefan has been away for a long time now, and the patch is also broken in DS-Scene ROM Tool), or play the USA version instead.Hi. I am the one who asked you about Super Kaseki Horider. I can now play that game, but it freezes halfway through.
It is only possible to return to the home menu using the home button and it is not possible to restart the DS software or even return to TWLMenu.
What should I do? I am using TWLMenu++ nightly build.
Thank you for your reply. I copied again the game's rom file and move it to roms folder. And I also enable ap-fix cheat and changed to ds mode on TWLMenu, but the game won't start. My 3ds display white screen forever. Should I patch the rom file on DS-Scene ROM Tool first? The one that was able to start up before was patched with that tool.Either wait for someone to fix the AP-fix for that game (which is unlikely, as @retrogamefan has been away for a long time now, and the patch is also broken in DS-Scene ROM Tool), or play the USA version instead.
If you have the cheat database installed, you can enable the AP-fix cheat (unknown if that's broken as well) and switch to DS mode for the cheat to work properly.
If it's not installed, then you can get it from Universal-Updater. To use the cheat, press Y in TWLMenu++, then press X to open the cheat menu. If you don't see the cheat, then make sure you're using the ROM that isn't Rev 1.
Your English is perfectly understandable, Brother.Hi. I would like you to understand what I want to tell though my English is poor because I am from Japan.
I want to play Super Kaseki Horider(JPN) on TWLMenu but the game doesn't start. I can open TWLMenu and select the game, my old 3ds display white screen when I start the game. I can play other ds games like DQMJ2P and Super Mario Bros., I can't play only the game. Help me out please.
I use the latest TWLMenu++. If you want to know any other information, you can ask me.
Then the AP-fix cheat is broken as well. Do not use DS-Scene ROM Tool, as it includes the broken patch as well.Thank you for your reply. I copied again the game's rom file and move it to roms folder. There is no real-time save option included in nds-bootstrap.Nice piece off homedrew!
I there also a option for "real time save" or state saves in NDS games?
So currently there is no way to play Super Kaseki Horider(JPN) ? I wanna play it if possible because I don't have USA version...Then the AP-fix cheat is broken as well. Do not use DS-Scene ROM Tool, as it includes the broken patch as well.
Your last option is to use a flashcard, but other than that, there is no way to play it.So currently there is no way to play Super Kaseki Horider(JPN) ? I wanna play it if possible because I don't have USA version...
Understood. Thank you again and again.Your last option is to use a flashcard, but other than that, there is no way to play it.
Which region? The EUR version works for me.Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis It doesn't start with the latest update. the upper screen turns red.

, but unluckily I was greeted again with a white screen after booting the game from TwilightMenu++. Sounds like your 3DS SD card is incompable with nds-bootstrap. Try reformatting with this guide: https://dsi.cfw.guide/sd-card-setup.htmlPrelude: i had to edit the links because as a new user i can't post links (only god knows why this useless rule was made). Hope that they can make sense, I removed the dot, the slashes and in some cases the com subdomain.
Hi,
I have recently installed Luma CFW, using the seedminer method following this guide:3ds hacks guide seedminer
.
Everything went ok , I hadn't got any error. The new cfw seems to work pretty fine. Thanks to the guide I also installed fbi, homebrew, universal installer and other things.
After that I wanted to add nds games, so I looked online and saw that TwilightMenu++ was used to manage and launch nds games ( alongside ndsbootstrap which seems to be included in the TWLmenu package infact i want to point out that I didn't separately install ndsbootstrap ). I installed it using universal updater ( that I had already installed thanks to the previous mentioned Luma guide ) following this wiki:wiki ds-homebrew twilightmenu installing-3ds
.
Then I downloaded some roms: Pokemon platinum, mario kart , mechanic master, tetris. I added them to /roms/nds and then inserted my sd card in the nintendo 3ds and booted twilight menu. After navigating to the previous mentioned path I tried to launch any game and every game started with a white screen ( save file creation seemed to have gone ok, no errors were displayed ).
I then tried to change the launch mode to DS for every game but had no luck. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Twilight menu manually following a different guide ( seems unofficial and outdated, but was very popular on the search engine ):cfwaifu twilight-menu-3ds
and had no luck again.
I then found a text file inside TWiLightMenu.7z from github (latest release:github DS-Homebrew TWiLightMenu releases
) called ap-patched-games.txt and found out that none of the games I tested were in the list, so maybe I thought that they were "incompatible" in some way, infact I tried to download a random game in the list ( nds format ):Pokemon white version
, but unluckily I was greeted again with a white screen after booting the game from TwilightMenu++.
I shall also add that I tried to use TWLfix-cfw by downloading it from universal-updater and following the procedure, but didn't help. I tried also to disable card reader in the per-game settings of TWLmenu.
Have you got any suggestion? I have no clue of what's going on.. I think that the TWLmenu++ is bugged at this point.
PS: The installation was done on an Sd card that is loaded inside the nintendo 3ds console. No flashcards were used.
Side notes: I tried installing mario calculator.cia and run it from the 3ds home and worked like a charm. Also i own an old r4i 3ds gold with YSMenu on it, and i can play nds games there fine with no problems.
I forgot to say that I use an 8gb microSD with an sd Adapter. I formatted it previously using windows 11 tools (from the explorer) with partition type Fat32 and 32kb of cluster size. Anyway i will read the guide and let you know.Sounds like your 3DS SD card is incompable with nds-bootstrap. Try reformatting with this guide: --removed--
If the issue persists, then try another SD card, or just use your flashcard (maybe install TWLMenu++ on it as well).
btw, TWLMenu++ bundles nds-bootstrap, so it does not need to be installed separately.
As a side note i would like to inform you that i was able to launch art academy on the third or second attempt some minutes ago without getting the white screen. So could the sd card still be the problem ?
I have no idea what happened then.EDIT: i managed to also run super mario on the second run ! what could this be ?
