Finally, I really think the first one had some serious issue (and not only the controls) but as far as I heard they took care of nearly everything that was off-putting... Nice job!

^This.

The first Scribblenauts game, (aptly named, 'Scribblenauts') was weak IMO but this game is possibly the most fun you can have with a DS ATM.

I love this game, much more than the original...Fixed all the problems.

However, is it just me, who thinks it has become much more passive, compared to the original Scribblenauts? I mean in the first Maxwell would have to travel, jump, fly, swim etc. MUCH MORE than in Super Scribblenauts. In most levels, first time you move Maxwell is to grab the Starite when the puzzle is solved.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
