Although it's supposed to be a classic anime, I haven't watch it nor do know about the game - is it any good, either the game or anime?

Holy effing bleep, I was not expecting this. Like EVER. I'm a huge fan of the series, but I never suspected it would ever become a game. I'll tell all y'alls how it goes: Trains in space. As for the game, I'll tell you later.

OK, it LOOKS like a crappy ripoff of the Legacy of Goku games, but it plays like an SRPG. Laughably bad. If I knew Japanese, I might like it, but without being able to read the menus, I'm going to leave it at that.
