Rock & Roll? All I've heard on Konami's site is slow piano music... (and slow slideshows).

From what I understand in this game you play as a kid living in Japan during the 1970s who, no surprise here, must compete in a variety of minigames

No idea why it says Rock & Roll Brawler, even after looking at the NFO [IMG]

"Konami's Houkago Shounen (After-school Boy) is targeted directly at gamers' sense of nostalgia. The adventure game, set in 1975, casts the player as a young elementary student one month before he moves away, doing the best he can to have as much fun and spend as much time as possible with friends before saying goodbye."

Thought this was Dr Layton and the Curious Village Japanese version at first.

    Guess not.

This seems like it would have a huge language barrier. Anyone confirm that?

it seems to have a hard Japanese skill requirement.
is it possible to play it without knowing 2012 Kanjis?

Did the OP mix up this game with another one? If so which game is a "rock & roll brawler" because that sounds awesome (as long as it's not Draglade)

oh well one more day of waiting won't hurt [IMG]
