So I was at the Isle of Murdaw before I fight him for the 2nd time and I was being careless and my main character died so I just let the rest of my party die (dumb I know). It sent me back to Ghent but the ship is gone, and I can't zoom back. Any suggestions?
hey can anyone help me with my classes a bit? I'm like close to around my second jobs for each character Carver and Hero are around 20-21
I'm thinking Hero-Sage>Hero
Amos-Battlemaster then w/e
Carver-Paladin then Battlemaster or vice versa
Milly-Luminary then...sage I guess
Nevan-priest then sage(depending on Carver don't know if 2 paladins at the same time would be overkill)
Ash-stuck with sage and Armamentalist...I mean I'm guessing I will have time to master at least 2 adv jobs for everyone but, Sage doesn't have any single enemy spells and I want to use ash in my party alot but, I'm worried she will be illequiped for bosses as a sage early on(will that be the case?)
So any advice/suggestions I'm also planning on using terry alot when I get him(thinking aramentalist then giving him the dragon job class would that be good?) The most difficult thing for me right now is just choosing jobs between Carver, Nevan, and Ash(who is the main focus of my troubles cause I can't figure out sage or Arma) cause If I make Ash a Sage I think I'd make Nevan a pally and Carver a gladiator(since 3 sages sounds like too much...maybe not idk) and if I make ash a Arma I think I'd make Nevan a sage and Carver a pally.

I have been enjoying this official English release as well (I bought it). My assumptions about the text that I wrote a while ago were correct (readme). The translation, when there actually is a translation, is very good. The additions to the script are quite funny and well-suited for the West although not in the original.
I did notice that they actually removed two jokes in the official English release that

I was also pleased to see the similarities between what I did and what the official release did. The Howard/Hors naming scheme, for one. The voices of the characters (or how I read them) are very similar usually even though the actual text is different (much of the party chat does not reflect what was said in the original). Overall a big confidence booster. Only wish I had my editor friends help :|
There's a Japanese one (and a not-so-good translation of it somewhere out there). I think you can add Amos to your party from it or toggle certain flags

no, i just meant the savegame converter that turns like... an r4 save file into a savefile usable by another flashcard.

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it! -

I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
