If you went through that topic carefully, you would have noticed where I stated that it was a mistake that I made and I did not claim to have found the correct rom and currently playing it. You will also notice that I did not provide any screenshots so in the words of my alter-ego "FAIL MOAR PLOX". That is all.

I have googled some, and have found that a lot of the Dragon Quest VI ROMs going around as (U) ROMs at this time are actually translated (or released onto the internet. I cannot tell which) by a group called VENOM.

I could not find an instance of any North American ROM that was not accredited to VENOM, therefore the game may not be on the internet yet.

And you may know something about dumping and extracting information out of roms/games, as you claim, but you know nothing about Scene ... so you fail xD

You want the quickest way to make people eat crow and shut up? Post a pic of the title screen from DeSmuME, like this.

Took that pic myself just a few minutes ago from the translated rom, took me all of 3 minutes to do so. Obviously, the retail rom will have Realms of Revelation instead of the japanese text. For all the 'proof' pictures everyone has posted no one has bothered to take a picture of the title screen which would be 100% proof positive and would shut up the doubters. So, those of you who have the retail game -- do it, just so this freaking bickering will stop.

Also, as far as peeking at the rom in a hex editor, I can't tell any difference between the fan translation and a retail DS game. Here's a few snippets of code from the translated rom.

Agreed I didnt know VI was going to get this much noise-Radiant Historia looks more exciting!

Don't get too excited over RH. People who played the (J) version were impressed with the visuals, but found the actual game play and battling to feel very generic. Looking pretty isn't enough to get me to play a game either.

Radiant Historia delayed again???!! i thought it coming out on 22nd this month?

They gonna release it same day as the Japan 3DS date launch or such I heard ( Japan 3DS launch is on the 26th of February '11 ).
