I think the only way to fix the text size problem would be to insert a new font that works better with English characters. I'm fairly new to this whole hacking thing, so I haven't figured out how that would be done.
The main problem with inserting a new font is it would most likely turn all the remaining Japanese characters into a bunch of random symbols.

I wonder, is the game's framerate low for others? when there are 4 party members, maybe even some places with just 3, the game becomes half frame rate and becomes more difficult to navigate as when the frame rate is smooth. Could it be the cause of a dynarec 1gb flash card? Thanks!

I noticed two things about the status screen.
One is that you haven't translated some of the skill areas for certain jobs. Like Acrobatics, Magic, Claws, etc.
Tip: Notice how the skill areas on the status screen are all not lined up? For example, Sword, Fan, and Shield are lined up but Whip is further out?
Here is how to fix it, as I tested it. In the file, you'll see a tag "" by certain ones, such as Sword. Change this to "". In between some of them, for example Sword and Spear, there is a HEX of 20 instead of 00. Make sure you have the 20 in these areas, because I noticed in some cases removing these will make one or two words not show up in game.
When you do this, all the skill areas will be lined up out where Whip already is. This makes things look better and gives you a little more space.
Number two is that you have not translated the 6 Upper Classes that you unlock in the later game.
Golio, just wanted to let you know that your translations in the OP are very helpful to those of us you imported from Play-asia or NCSX and have a hard time with Japanese.
One of those might be nothing, because a lot of these files have some unrelated stuff in them. But 12 of those should be the Gestures you do not have on the OP.
