That's one of the disadvantages of having a high capacity microSD.

As for the topic, I'm different. I play games for a short time then I don't play them for a while. As a result, I forget the control scheme and find myself going to points jsut to learn how to do the simple things or if they are too confusing, I restart the game.

The solution I can think of right now is to have plenty of games then fill the rest of the card up with songs for Moonshell.

Lol I'd do taht but I'm too lazy to restart the game.

I have a 2 gig card filled with games, its a really long queue, and it doesn't help that I don't play much.

I'm currently addicted to one ds game, it has got wifi and it is in my sig *hint* I play it since a long time now, and I think I'm happy that I'm addicted to it.

Before that game I was like that too (sometimes).

I liked Megaman Battle Network 3 better than the others.
That game was fun

And I owned my friends at it

Hmm, mine mainly seems to be from having a flash card myself... but I also attribute it to having little time to play games the way I used to. I play my DS at home at night before bed since I'm usually my own driver and have to get from point A to point B to do something and go back again. I can't even imagine playing a console game (as Dragon Quest VIII sits and collects dust) for such an extended period of time... maybe just pick up some IIDX to play every now and then, but otherwise I always feel like I should be doing something else.

Losing interest can be such a thing for me too, if the game gets too damn repetative and the storyline isn't redeeming enough.

this not only happens to pirates...happens to me on my original games too.
Mostly if I cannot play a game for some time and forget part of the story.
Happened to me on several "Das schwarze Auge" Parts in the past.
Same as start reading "Lord of the rings" its a great novel, but you have to fight your way through the first book but afterwards you wont stop until the end...
Same on some games.
Nowadays I push myself sometimes to play a game to the end.
example: godfather - blackhand edition.
You can get easily distracted by the "vast" world and options.
But I pushed myself to end all the story missions.
On that way I found some more fun in that game.

fazit: sometimes playing a game to the end is even more fun ;-)

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
