Hey

I was wondering if games such as Guitar Hero/Rock Band require a guitar/drumset/etc to play. Not sure if they do or dont on the 360 or PS3 but since here we have a advance motion detecting controller, they may not be required.

I got a related question. I boot from USB, and my hard drive requires both USB ports for power.

Are the guitars (dont care about other instruments) connected through USB, or do they use the sensor bar? I've read that booting the games from disc can cause some lag from the read speed, and I'm really wanting to play some GH5 when it comes out. Hoping they use the bluetooth, because I don't know if I can justify buying a thumb drive just for guitar hero action.

the sensor bar doesn't "Sense" things so, no.

the wiimote is the one that does the sensing and it's a wireless controller. the guitar is basicly a guitar shaped classic controller.

Plus I see that GH3 is only for 2 players.

Oh well....it is better than nothing.

Another similar and related question...

Does Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2 require the dancepad or can it be played with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck only?
