Hacking Dios Mios video issues

So I selected NTSC 480p on the WiiFlow options screen for Resident Evil 2, and it outputs audio, but no video. I'm using an NTSC black vertical GameCube compatible Wii with a USB flash-drive, Emerson NTSC 60hz HDTV with the Wii hooked up via the stock cables and a Pioneer HD surround stereo. I will note that the game works fine with everything set to default
