Im having problem DML getting to work! Installed DMLr58[MIOS-v10].wad then i put my gamecube Isos in sd/Games folder, booting neogamma latest version! and choose boot from DML bit my isos is not showing up?
Did you put them in as sd:/games/gameID/game.iso ? If not, run them through DiscEX (Easiest using the WAD-Creator from the guide)

How much do i need to donate to get all the things working again that are broken in DML rev59?
Also how much do i need to donate to get full NMM support on all games?

only the reset/shutdown key combo got changed in r59, which can't break anything.
Mind you that NoDisc as mentioned in the commit is not working with all games.

Also I fucking hate people who just say "doesn't work" it's useless, either say WHAT doesn't work or STFU!

Expanding on what SanGor just said: if it doesn't work, then just revert to a previous revision that once worked for you.

Also... No Disc support isn't perfect, just like with NMM (No More Memory Cards). If you want something added or improved, you'll have to either be patient and wait or just donate, what you can and just hope for the best.

Enough for him to quit his day job and live off of you, concentrating on this until he can figure it out.

I love the work that the DML Staff did here, my games work pretty good with the default setting (No NMM or NoDisc) and I wish them all the best on future upgrades

Thats not really what i was going for, BTW nice reaction Sangor.
in this VERY thread you could have read that people have problems with games and other things like NMM, they also said that several things worked in a previous rev.
You could probably debate a lot of these reports, but the fact is people have donated, and probably far more than any other Homebrew project got...shouldn't there be an improment by now?
I get the impression from the things i read here later DML revs. are giving more problems than they solve. Maybe i am very wrong here...

Well I'm still using DML r58 Mios rev10 nodisk with all my games, and aside from "Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Gems Collection, Rayman 3, Virtua Stricker, and occasional error messages in Rayman Arena and Sonic Heroes" all other games still work for me very well, also I'll point out that Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic Gems Collection, Rayman 3, Sonic Heroes, and Rayman Arena work fine with DML r52 Mios rev 10 in disk mode, however I'm still not sure what's the problem with Virtua Striker but even if it doesn't work I rarely play this if ever, and I already bought the original disk years ago so I can just use that!

Now I hope the next update will at least fix the three games I mentioned previously to work in nodisk mode which are Shadow, Gems Collection, and Rayman 3!

Of course you're wrong. These comments about problems are rightfully ignored because they don't make any sense. Nothing in the code has changed that would warrant them. It's simple enough that I didn't think I'd have to make a point of it but if you're having problems with a game now that you weren't before, well, then you've either enabled NoDisc, NMM or both. I'd think it's quite clear to most using DML that these OPTIONS are not going to work with every game yet. I believe the loaders even disable them by default.
There's no need to revert. There is no 'stable' version. Just don't use the damn options with those games! It's also a good habit to check your SD for errors often.. maybe even a reformatting. NAND and Trans Flash can be pretty dodgy sometimes. In fact just recently I had a game where two of the NPCs just up and vanished, and shortly after I fell through the bottom of the map and died. It turned out my SD was starting to fail.
NMM is broken in rev 59 for windwaker.
No it isn't. You're got a broken save on the SD or a memcard inserted or something else. As a matter of fact the new CARDOpen code fixed a lot of games for NMM. Check the wiki.
I will end my post with two words that you should all reflect upon for a good while. User error. =P

can anyone confirm running Resident Evil 4 (US) using r58 gets corrupt data save when using NMM and random in-game freezes with NO-Disc?

pretty much perfect using R58 withour NMM and no-disc (except ashley joins and leaves you randomly in the game at any point).

Amazing program !

thanks.

I got some screen freeze with Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II Rogue Leader (USA), on random places! using r58 with Neogamma! without NMM and no disc.

A donation is a free gift. If you demand something in return, it is not a donation at all. Donations encourage developers, but acting like the devs owe you something does exactly the opposite. If people have a problem with that, I would suggest they keep their money.

^This, besides the team made great work so far, they literary done the undoable, allowing us play GC games off an SD? it was said to be a hardware limitation and it's never gonna happen, also it's not a big problem switching from one revision to the other, it's easier than switching disks all the time, just keep the ones that worked best with your games in a separate file on the SD and keep it always ready!

Anyway I got a rather weird thing to ask, I tried Ctr-Gcs DacoTaco Edition last night, I got an original memory card btw, I tried backing up the raw data but it asks me to go to the main menu and start something from there, what shall I do exactly? I don't get it, also can I use it to download save files off the net and put them in the memory card? I kinda lost some games' save files during the years, I'd like to get them back, thanks!

There was something on Wiibrew about using Official NGC Memory Cards with that tool.

This was taken from the download/information page:
Due to an issue with DSP & libogc ; libogc is
unable to unlock the official memory cards in wii
mode. because of this; the memory card needs to
be unlocked from system menu first. To do this;
you have to follow the following steps:
Start System menu, and unplug the memory
card. wait 1 second and then plug it back in the
wii.
Go to the settings menu in system menu.
Go to the Data management menu; followed by
the save menu.
Go to the Gamecube menu and look at the card
you wish to use (slot A or B, tested in slot A).
hit the back button untill you are back at the
main menu (channel selection) and start
Homebrew channel.
boot ctr-gcs : DacoTaco edition and proceed like
normal.
This was tested on several Wii's with several types of official cards and it seemed to work time and time again. However there is no guarantee it will always work for you.

You may import/export GCI save format. If you download GCS or SAV files, I can provide a tool to convert them to GCI files.

Agreed, so people only donate for encouragement, NOT because you want something fixed (and it won't be fixed if you do not donate).
Even worse, now it goes like this: if somebody has a problem with a game and donates, only a fix for that game is done.
I see the people which i expected defending this, weird how they only say i am wrong about DML but not helping out until i actually do donate (excluding a few ppl like wiipower).

Which was exactly my point in the first place, now i have said enouh about this...so you won't here me critisizing about this again.

DML at the moment, is only alright for playing games without the no disc patch or NMM.

I'm not saying the compatibility wiki is inaccurate, it's just people have different views and opinions on what revisions and features work for them.

You will need BC v6 installed and it doesn't matter what System Menu you have or what IOSes you have installed. But... The type of SD Card which you have might affect your performance, regardless what revision you decide to use.

In my honest opinion, I'll stick with this for the time being until devolution comes out.

You my friend make me laugh.
Why the hostality?
I'm just getting an error when using NMM in DML for windwaker. Also leaving the game run in demo mode mode using NMM dml rev 59 results in "an error occured after about 5 mins.
There's no user error. Also there's no way for you to know how I work or how I have my things set up.
I know my stuff. Don't be a jackass.

I'm just reporting NOT complaining. Nor will I ever donate to DML, as I really do not need it.
BTW after the rather agressive reply of Sangor ( crediar I think...) I even more am loosing interest.
I just wanted to give feedback. But when things are broken and fixed for every Dml rev, I think there is room to speculate if it's worth the donation.

Still, great job.
