Uhum the Translation chart is not up to date.
I have my reasons though.
100% refers only to the translation part.

But believe me: We don't sit three weeks doing nothing. So expect um... something... ;)

The majority of MENU related stuff has been translated. Story wise, still a lot to do.

As I mentioned before: When I update, I want it to be something that was worth waiting.

You guys would have nothing to gain from me saying what is at 100% if you can't SEE what it means, right?

Bunch of 100%s don't change the big picture.

Sorry, but I always think big :D

Right I figured it probably meant it was only the translation portion that was finished, and no I definitely didn't assume you guys weren't doing anything. I know first-hand that it takes a LOT of work and effort to design a game, or even a little bit of it. I worked on a game project with a team of about 12 people, and we were designing a simple dungeon crawler type of game for mobile phones, but having team members come and go, having weeks of zero productivity back-to-back because our artist did the art wrong or because the programmer was having issues or because the leader asked for features that were more than we could handle, etc., it was all too common. Some of us couldn't help but do nothing because we had to wait for one member to create an object then pass it on to be polished by another so it could get passed on to the programmer and finally into the game. Two years passed and the game still wasn't even close to being done, so I understand where you guys are coming from. I wish you all the best of luck and hope everyone gets to see your awesome patch when it's done because it's gonna put big bright smiles on tons of faces, including mine. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work!

crashman isnt part of the team, nor does he know anything about our patch or progress
Oh... my bad. I didn't check the first page to verify his name. I will be sure to do that from now on. Thanks though.

CrashmanX is not part of the team and he can't give any progress reports. I can't even say how much % of story is done and what is left.
I understand, but everything has been translated at least right? That's still a really big accomplishment there.

The issues with your team you had are about the same we are facing.

Redigitize is a game that demands at least a translator with very high japanese knowledge for the dialogues, or even a native speaker at least.
We have two of those, but they are hard to get a hold off.

And other issues... Well I spare the details.

Not everything has been translated yet, and the insertion process itself is also not that easy as well.
We are facing a textlimit which is sometimes really killing it.

Sometimes when the system tries to be polite ingame and says Please, I have to cut the please and be a rude bastard :D

ReDigitize isn't the most challenging project I've been working on, but it is the first project where I lead, and I guess I'm also that sort of leader constantly asking for features that are hard to realize.

But this game, for me it's what I've been waiting for the last 12 years. If it takes a little longer to make it the way I see it, that's ok.

I Just created an account here to show my support on this project. Me and my girlfriend are looking forward for this patch.

This situation reminds me when I first played a japanase Digimon 2 on PSX. That time I did not knew english (and still don't sometimes :P) so playing a english or a japanase game was the same for me, I did not understand a word. Hopefully I finished the game with a lot of hardwork of discovery, try and fail, a lot of notes to itens and etc...
But now that I know some english I don't want do it again, I want enjoy this game as much as possible. In time, I will with you work. So don't give up on this.

Brazil is supporting you guys. Thank you for doing this.
Cheers.

I see you guys made progress, and also going at eachother throats lol. I thought crashmanX was apart of the team after he was trying to roast me about the way I chose to talk on the internet. You guys need a break from this site lol its driving all the team members crazy. I say you guys just work and don't mind this thread and don't post unless you made breakthrough progress or a big annoucement like Romsstar and Storm said tons of times before or a more serious post like someone looking to translate to their own langauge. Its alot of trolls that love to just come here and post "Release date?" lol. It pisses me off and I'm not even working on the project. :P

.. I think this would take a little longer, you have my support on this project :D
.. not that I'm comparing or anything vc3 translation isn't release yet and that is one example how
.. long it will take to fully translate a game.

Ah I see. Yeah our team mainly lacked passion and motivation. The few of us who had it were of course the most productive, but the rest were better at making up excuses every other week. Okay, we weren't THAT bad, but it seems like when you have a split team with high energy on one side and low drive on the other, either the high picks up the low, or the low brings the high down with them. If we were working on a game related to such an awesome and childhood inspiring franchise like Digimon, we definitely would've worked a lot harder without the need of constant reminders and/or scolding. If you guys are really having similar issues, then I truly recommend a spirit boost of some kind. Something that'll reignite that spark that first drove you guys into starting this project, whether it was your love for Digimon, the excitement for the game, the support of your cheering fans, etc. A lot of positivity, proof of how far you've gone, and how close you are to finishing can really go a long way. I don't mean to sound cheesy with cliches, but they really do help sometimes.

What I need, a good debugger for a PSP emulator, that would be nice.

Keep up the good work guys, Sony was insane for not translating this and getting it state side. I mean granted the PSP was near the end of it's lifespan, but Digimon World was such a unique game... And while I do love World 2, they really should have built on the concept. and now that we have, us who don't speak Japanese don't get a taste? Jeez, way to stomp on my childhood. I don't care if it takes two more years, I'm waiting with bells on, you guys are great.

Dear supporters,

since I actually don't have the time to PLAY the game we are translating, but need to test a few things ingame,
and many of those things are coming much later on game, what I require is a functioning Redigitize Savegame
for JPCSP either close to the end of the game, or very far advanced, with as many items, evolutions and other stuff as possible.

So I'm looking for a super complete savegame for JPCSP.
The more the better. If anyone has this, please send me a PM.
Would be much appreciated.

Probably what I'll say won't help at all because it's likely that you already know this, but, here there are 100% savegames but those are for PSP, not JPCSP. I don't know if they are the same formats (probably not), and if/how you can convert them to be compatible with JPCSP

Not compatible and also haven't found a way to make them work with JPCSP, so yeah..

As I read in JPCSP forum, there is an option called "Enable Crypto Mode" which will enable the PSP gamesaves to work with JPCSP but not vice versa.

We are aware of this function yet it didn't make it work with the 100% savegame provided on Gamefaqs.
The New Game+ is not useful for us, since it misses the things I wanted actually to check.

So if anyone can provide a working 100% savegame, preferably with a lot or all items, all Mails and pretty much everything you can get in this game, this would be highly appreciated and aid in bringing this game faster to you guys.
