I don't know if we can apply the same method as Yu-Gi-Oh! TF6. But, in the later, we replace the encrypted with the decrypted and it works.

I was about to suggest the same. For Danball I can re-inject the de-compressed CPK files and it works fine. So I believe the lack of encryption should be fine as well.

Guys, a question.
Do you prefer the Dubbed names or the japanese ones?
I mean Taichi/Tai or Baby Flame/Pepperbreath, Vandemon/Myotismon etc...
I personally prefer much things in the dubbed way, like the protagonist's names.
My idea is to use the dubbed names, and leave the japanese for some beautiful things (Like Dukemon... *__* I can't heard Gallantmon...).
What do you think about this?

JAPANESE. DON'T EVEN THINK OF DOING ENGLISH. PLEASE?

The dub names and terms are all yucky and I've hated them since I was a kid.

Besides it's a japanese game, so please don't localize it. Just translate it. And don't mix and match terms either, that'd be weird. No offense.

People letting nostalgia getting in the way of things ;____;

Also I laughed at whoever was saying "Palmon" is "Parumon". That was so stupid.

The iso with the decrypted eboot on the emulator runs fine. On the psp however it wont work.

The new Decrypted file has a header called elf instead of "PSP Digimon ...."

Most people prefer the localized names because that's how they knew them when they watched the show years ago (including me). How did you know, when you were a kid that those names weren't the "real ones" ? (I mean there wasn't that much access to the internet in the 90's in order to figure out that kind of things ... )

Then do the other way around, if you've decrypted it you need to....

As I told you, we use this method with YGO-TF6. We decrypt the Eboot.bin and replace the encrypted with the decrypted and it works fine. Since that was about 1 year or more, I don't remember what did we do to it to work in PSP.

What kind of Decrypter did you run? If the header is changed it didn't decrypt it but rather wrote in a new one. If it's a ELF header then somethings up. .ELF files are usually used by PS2 games.

well under the configuration menu's crypto tab, there's an option to extract decrypted EBOOT.bin files to tmp

If I knew how to encrypt it, I wouldn't be asking
Yea... you're using an unoffical version. I JUST downloaded the newest 64-bit version and there's no crypto tab.
I also use the JPCSP Emulator to decrypt them. And yes, it is an old version since I didn't update my application lists.

@silverwolf68: how did you put it back into the ISO?
