Depends, if you have the money and no patience, then go for it, but if you don't have the money and patience the wait for emulationshould i wait for perfect emulation or should I buy a 9$ r4isdhc dual core.
I cant decide
As someone with a Supercard DSTwo giving perfect DS game performance, DS emulation doesn't interest me in the slightest.
It's my opinion that the time spent making an emulator for a device that already supports running DS Games natively is kind of dumb. Why not spend the time to get DS games to work natively because honestly I can't imagine porting an entire emulator that can't perfectly emulate games like the native support can will take less time than making a patch to make it so we don't need a flash card. Sadly the people that have the capability to do this won't because it doesn't benefit them because in most cases it's used for piracy. I personally have a lot of DS games that I actually own that I'd rather not lug around if I can have them all on my SD card. In the long run flash cards will always be the best option until this problem is fixed I imagine.
My R4i '3DS' (with the JPN Konami game as its icon) works fine on my 3DS, and I use WOOD firmware just fine on it.R4i SDHC? Also lack of supporting updates, it still works and has some japanese game by konami, but not on my 3ds. Also the website don't have the files anymore, all i find is "NEW 2016 R4 Working on latest firmware" Why couldn't they just update the one i had, why do i need to buy a new card to get it to work again? Is like a subscription that doesn't end. I hate that.
This sums up my feelings exactly, the time could of been spent on something more productive when we already have a solution to running games natively. It's my opinion that the time spent making an emulator for a device that already supports running DS Games natively is kind of dumb. Is your flash card the same one in the picture? My R4i '3DS' (with the JPN Konami game as its icon) works fine on my 3DS, and I use WOOD firmware just fine on it.

I don't believe so. It definitely looks different, I guess there are so many R4(i) SDHC/RTS etc. clones it's difficult to tell which one's which. Is your flash card the same one in the picture?

To be fair sd cards suck now and days, they die and mafunction very unexpectedly and it sucks. Hope no future consoles ever use sd cards, Maybe make something more durable. But still i agree with you.Personally i would prefer emulation, 1 sd is better than needing 2
