Hacking Custom IOSX rev18 Installer released

Let me explain two things:

1. Triiforce is broken, yeah. Triiforce works perfectly under rev18 with some proper fixes.

2. The ES_Identify problem (SU perms) happens if you use some specific IOS as base like, for example, IOS60 and IOS70. They have better security and I don't recommend use them for this kind of stuff.

Recommended base is IOS57.

for whoever cares, i installed this as 57 base. then dumped the whole nand and run it in sneek. i can start the cIOS in sneek, but it freezes shortly and the wiimote doesnt sync. i'd like somebody to confirm, but it seems that at least this combination doesnt run in my version of sneek.

nice IOS57 it is then. I was about to use IOS38 because someone said it had all around better compatibility. Waninkoko recommends IOS57 as a base, I'm starting with that.

Im also having problems installing any wads with wad manager, i tried the mod with facelift and it cant mount my sd card now, and GUI wad manager can read the sd card but get error ret= -106 when trying to install wads i know work fine, perhaps wad manager needs an update as well?

i upgraded to cios rev17 without knowing that id lose neogamma support....

i dont want to downgrade in case i get into a brick or something (i got into a banner brick

, so i bought a modchip and repaired via the recovery menu [i was on 4.0E so i didn't have much support from anyone] , i will never do anything stupid on my wii again)

i really want to play NSMB Wii on neogamma because my drivekey 2 cannot play it (stupid copyright protection

if any kind of backup launcher is released for cios rev17+ PLEASE let me know THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

PS i COULD play NSMB on neogamma R8 beta 15 before i upgraded from rev 14 to rev 17... just to let you know that it was the new cios that made the game stuff up... i am using neogamma R8 RC2, should i be using a different version??? if so please let me know!! thanks everyone

Just curious, why still ios37? You're recommending ios57 now over ios38. Shouldn't ios56 be used over ios37 as well?

I know ios37 works fine for newer gh/rb games that run off ios56, and am not sure about backwards compatibility of ios56 with older ios37 gh/rb games.

neogamma RC3 works with rev17 and comes with the wip patches for NSMBW

Neogamaa needs to be modified for rev18 USB support (just a little change, the EHCI device name was renamed from /dev/usb/ehc to /dev/usb2).

so FAT support means you can load a Game.iso from an Usb Hard Drive? no need for WBFS stuff anymore?

the problem with FAT is how big the iso are compared to WBFS.... ie: NSMB.

Apparently forwarders don't work anymore (the ones created using crap and loadstructor for the games in your hd).
A message appears about the hd not being detected.

If you trim the ISO the size is... the same.
