rev 14 works just fine on both of mine, all my games work..........I call this a waste of time, theres no games out that require anything else

If rev19 fixes the bugs, it will be far superior to rev14. Rev14 is not DL compatible, has wifi problems, no instrument game support and no Monster Hunter Tri support. Ok, you get all that already with Hermes cIOS, but it would be nice to have all this with Waninkoko's cIOS too.

What base ios should i use in the new cios?
As of right now, the default is IOS 57, but you need to base it on IOS 38 if you want to still be able to install wads of any kind.

Hello to all
Well I try the installer for rev 18 and can't get it to work,it freezes at the intro, where it tells You to press the A buton and the wiimote freezes also,I read thru the tread and looks like nobody else is having the same problem.
Any ideas?
Thank You for the help.
Rem

Is your wiimote fully synced with the wii? (used the red buttons inside the wii menu)

1. Why not have a patched IOS36(all 3 patches from TBR/DOP-Mii) and use that to install wads?
2. You can install cIOSrev17, dump IOS250 with BlueDump, install the cIOS you want, install IOS250 wad and you have a WAD Manager compatible cIOS at IOS250. Yes it's a bit complicated, but i prefer Waninkoko working at real problems instead of wasting time with this.

no offense to waninkoko as hes done alot but all u guys are whinging that it doesnt work etc yet hermies seems to work flawlessly but alot dont want it??? yet complain when this 1 doesnt work...
i used this then found about hermies used that and never went back i then went to fat and then ntfs
i still install waninkoko's tho and give it a whirl on my wbfs partition and i set my friends up with waninkoko's and they use it happily
if u have to keep asking whats the best base or complaining about it instead of testing it why are u even using it or wanting to use it? u should just stick to your rev 14 17 etc

if this could install all the seperate bases like hermies eg 247,248,249,250 then just like hermies u would be able to choose what 1 u wanted to use and have better compatibility more options generally means more compatibility

be more helpful like this guy http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=147...p;#entry2637638 rather than asking about everything when u dont wanna find it

Hello to all

WiiPower ,yes the Wiimote is fully sinc with the Wii,that's the weird part,I can run everything else ,just the installer freezes at the intro.

cfg55b includes the new dip plugin for 249r18 with the fix for games that do the disc check.
the fix was done by waninkoko himself, i just included it.
but what is interesting is that now that mload is supported, we can fix such things without waiting for a new cios version.
so here's one small proof that mload is extremely useful

well besides the fact that it also allows us to add FRAG capability for FAT/NTFS support.

for the interested, here are the changes:

im sticking with rev 17 everything is working on my wii perfectly infact i dont think it could be working any better at the mo
i dont see any point in updating until things stop working properly
but cheers to waninko for these updates

Just a quick question, I read that WAD manager will only work with IOS38 as a base but I need to use IOS37 as a base for Rock Band 2 DLC to work. Can I just use IOS222 with base IOS38 for WAD Manager instead? Or do I have to install IOS249 with base IOS38 for it to work, and use IOS222/223 for Rock Band?

You can use IOS36 for WAD Manager.

Install IOS249 how you want.
In WAD Manager press left arrow on remote to select IOS36.

Hadn't thought about that! Thanks

Hermes cIOS 222/223 is a good one, especially when used next to cIOS rev 14, and every USB loader let u set the cIOS to use for each game...so Dual Layer problem with Waninkoko cIOS rev 14 is not a problem...

Some people DOESNT NEED wasting time with new more buggy cIOS releases...they can be right...but credit to Waninkoko who try to do the best but for now cIOS rev 14 & Hermes 222 is the best combo and less headache than cIOS rev 17/18 and soon 19

Long life to Hermes who doesnt need 30000 try and revisions to do the perfect cIOS

Long life to Waninkoko who try to help us with better revisions even if they reveal to be buggy revisions...

Help! i try to install the cios 37 over the 249 as i need to get the rockband 1 intruments working. however when i use the network mode, it always says fail after one or two patches. is it possible for someone to host the wads?

First off, kudos Waninkoko!

Okay, I'm still using rev17, but this broke the disc support.

Is the disc support fixed in rev19?

Next time: 1. Just try again, you have a bad wifi connection
2. Use NUS Downloader, since it downloads the IOS from nintendo's servers without trying to trick nintendo into thinking it's a wii, it can be considered legal

Rev18 broke disc support? It breaks the disc-in-drive-check which is fixed in rev19.

None of the loaders work properly in sneek even the ones updated to r18, they all seem to lose connectivity to the USB drive when the game is launched and either code dump or drop you back to the HBC. If I figure anything else out I'll let you know.

This may not be related to losing connectivity to the USB drive. Using CFG USBLoader to try and launch a game from SD I get the exact same results as from USB. Same error messages etc...
