No only SDHC in system menu on 4.0 or greater. Homebrew should be able to use it still.

Anyone hear any word on apps starting to make the fixes yet? I'm ready to upgrade, but it causes so many apps to not function. I went to cIOS57rev18 for a minute, but everything was bugging out so I reverted back to rev17.

Which apps are you looking to be fixed? Ones i know of that work are

USB Loader GX
Loadstructor (Unsure if Crap is updated but i would'nt be suprised he is really good at support for his app)
Wad Manager works with Rev 18 if IOS38 is used as a base or use a diff trucha patched IOS

Doesnt work:
Triiforce - IOS issue supposed to be fixed next release
SDHC - The IOS doesnt recognize SDHC cards for some reason, i use an SDHC card but it seems only app that doesnt work for me on rev 18 is wad creator, i think the programs themselves compensate for this on some of them but unsure
MP3/De blob etc - Any game that needs a disc in the drive normally, that bug is back, but you can use IOS 222 still

Thats all i know of, but i havnt tested everything this is just what ive used so far

Didn't Wanin released a modified WAD-Manager, which works with cIOSrev18 (not only 38-Base)? Or am I wrong?

According to Waninkoko on the cIOS-Bug Site, the latest DIP-Plugin on Github should have fixed this. No confirmations, but just to let you know...

Waninkoko's wad manager 1.6 does not fix it to work with Rev 18, it just updates the USB 2.0 code, I tried it out Rev 18 Base 57 and still no go same error, but according to waninkoko its a security measure nintendo added into IOS57 etc. Not an issue with the cIOS

I did also read that about his github update but i have not been able to look into it yet, that would be great though (I dont have the tools to compile it/nor the time to do it right now)

rev 14 works just fine on both of mine, all my games work..........I call this a waste of time, theres no games out that require anything else

If rev19 fixes the bugs, it will be far superior to rev14. Rev14 is not DL compatible, has wifi problems, no instrument game support and no Monster Hunter Tri support. Ok, you get all that already with Hermes cIOS, but it would be nice to have all this with Waninkoko's cIOS too.

i am wondering the same thing... i have rockband 2 and wiiflow. and a wiikey2(too lazy to take it out...)
Cios 17 is too cozy at the moment.. i dunno if i should upgrade.
plus 19 soon so....

The IOS thing has been answered and reanswered in this very thread several times guys.. its your choice what you wanna install as, but i think the time you spent asking you could have tested the differences in them all or read the thread and found out more info by now

@ the guy who says this is a waste of time, obviously you havnt tried it, rev 18 is far superior to 14, 17 is superior to 14 even, with bugfix release of rev19 if the bugs are truley gone it will be the best to date, ive said it before, the raw speed improvement is reason enough IMO

It should work with a cIOS37, but most likely also with a cIOS57. I think it's only released in japan for now, so the 1st try should be force NTSC/disc region video mode and force japanese language. 2nd try also use Country Sting patching.

i think having a choice in wich ios to use is great and all... but how do i make up my mind? does choosing one maybe make some games not work? i have ALOT of games and i want them all to run.

i must admit i liked it better when there was just one install and it worked great and ran everything just fine.

now we have to pick one and it seems like a gamble.
all i want to know is wich is THE BEST choice.

not what each of thier pros and cons are...

plus doesnt this break some applications? like wad manager? i know theres a new mod but i use 1.5 gui.

Yes, with IOS37 as base. They will not stay on the NAND anymore if you have them on your SD card.

Well I try the installer for rev 18 and can't get it to work,it freezes at the intro,where it tells You to press the A buton and the wiimote freezes also,I read thru the tread and looks like nobody else is having the same problem.
Any ideas?
