Can we install this multiple times to get the effects of all the base wads? So like can I install:
IOS38: Widely known/supported/stable base
IOS57: Better USB Code and Speed, better compatibility with newer games(?)
Both of these and get the same effects, or does it overwrite something?

says in the changelog

- NAND emulation path redirection improved.
- Added full and partial NAND emulation modes.

so triiforce is probably broken until an update to the app

The crappy thing about that is, i just setup my HDD with forwarder iso's on the fat partition, now they are all going to need an update if/when this gets fixed to lol, but here hoping ^^ Sounds like it should improve compatibility though, maybe speed to /fingers crossed

yes if you load into different IOS slots and your loaders support those IOS selections

No it will get overwritten with whatever one you install last, unfortunately you cant have it all. But that doesnt mean the other stuff doesnt work with that base, it just gives you options for compatibilty or w/e suits you best

Yeah, you would overwrite the cIOS every time you install it with a different base. The only solution is to install to different IOS slots, but then you'd need versions of apps that route to that IOS.

Why 14? 17 is better
I was too lazy to update for brawl support, which I don't really play anymore anyways. From what I hear, there's not much of an improvement in Triiforce compatibility, so I didn't waste the time -_-

meh, I"m just going to stick with Rev17, all my backups work just fine.

SIKE, on with the madness!! Once again, can only gain from this.

Downgrading back to 14 = same effort as downgrading to 17

Simple FS Dumper fails to identify as SU, is that because he removed it, like in the change log? using rev18 57 base. it stills dumps everything. so thats weird.
will my games from NTSF USB use this cIOS to run off of?

My on going questions every time a cIOS update is released:

1) How does this affect the installs of Hermes v5 cIOSs?
2) Can you now play custom DLC content on Guitar Hero Games without getting the message of an "improper" SD card being used?

Okay I need someone who is USING SNEEK to do some testing for me.
1) Have you got this installed?
2) What IOS did you use to install? (not the base ios...)
3) Was it trucha patched
4) If yes to question 1, can you try running the installer again and use IOS249 for the installation
5) Did it hang for you too?

probably not as he said he wouldn't include NTFS support

Let me explain two things:

1. Triiforce is broken, yeah. Triiforce works perfectly under rev18 with some proper fixes.

2. The ES_Identify problem (SU perms) happens if you use some specific IOS as base like, for example, IOS60 and IOS70. They have better security and I don't recommend use them for this kind of stuff.

Recommended base is IOS57.

Many thanks for clearing that up
