Everything looks good.
here’s the command line for this one:
python gen_patches.py mario_jump mario_logo.png
Once this finishes simply copy the resulting mario_jump directory on your PC to /atmosphere/exefs_patches/ on your switch.
Then delete the /atmosphere/exefs_patches/mario_logo directory from your switch and reboot.

With the latest patch software from https://github.com/friedkeenan/switch-logo-patcher they sure do.

If you downloaded fresh from yesterday then yes, you have the latest 14.0.0 compatible version.
Are you saying even tho the files in the OP are already made I still have to remake them? Cuz I have just been dropping in the made folders from OP
isnt there a simple GUI Program where you can create logos with.......need to resetup my pc soon and am not comfortable with that python stuff
At some point need to be remade based on the new Firmware, yes. If they are still working for you then that’s great. My instructions are mostly for folks to self service create these and their own logos now and in the future.

Closest we have is a batfile with the commands pre done all you need to do is drop your image on the batfile, that's how I do mine
I suppose somebody could create a static exe package to avoid the python hassle. Having a good Python environment helps with other stuff outside of switch as well though. :-)
You still need a working Python environment though, right? That’s the part most people struggle with. Cats like you, Soda, are way past that part!

i could shorten it even further by renaming the command. Something like this:

That file has the batfile & python all in one it works as a standalone package.
I'm pretty sure it would be adapted and I'm almost certain I adapted that zip from something that did switch logo replacements originally.
Bat is literally running a python command;

I'll have a look for the file I use when I boot my pc up tomorrow if needed.
I use that every Atmos update and inject a 1px transparent PNG doubt it speeds anything up but the original atmosphere bootlogo is pointless. I have 2 splashes the grey scale Atmos icon & IPS patched switch logo.
I reboot a lot when I'm working on layout stuff so less logos for me.

Thanks that worked. And just to be safe I left the folder name nintendont and just replaced the files with the Mario I made and it worked
Very clever! That‘s 90% of the battle!
Knowing what you do, I can see reboots being painful.
(Mine looks like NASCAR when booting up.)

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
