    Wow nice update. Thanks for the news wannya.

    For others wondering crystaltile2 is a fantastic hacking app for many systems including a serious set of DS hacking tools (asm, compression, sound (SDAT), text including shiftJIS and many common tools, hex, DS file format support (narc, nftr, sdat and several graphical formats among others), nitrorom (DS) file system support, one of the best tile editors out there (truly custom tile size, about 30 common and not so common storage methods, mirroring and similar tweaking in about every way going and the list goes on).

    It is however only available in Chinese, you can translate it (and indeed I have partially translated earlier versions but the changelog since has rendered it no good) and there is a Korean and a Chinese (not sure if it is traditional) on the site. Translations should be named as the windows codepage:
    http://www.science.co.il/Language/Locale-C....asp?s=codepage

    edit: see posts below for cory1492's translation.

    goole(very Sorry):

    I made use of API:
    LANGID lid =:: GetUserDefaultLangID ();

    >Format( ... "%d.lng", lid);

    Wrong?

    Yeah I should expand on what I said.
    To determine language crystaltile2 uses the windows API to determine what language the system is set in and then loads a corresponding .lng file with the same decimal LCID (1042 is Korean hence the one on the site, more on the link above or here: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/referen...setup/lcid.mspx ).

    Bleh, can't get the bloody thing to load any .lng file, even just making edits to the About text in the original files has shown nothing - my codepage should be 2052 as it's set to "english (canada)" but nothing I do is making any changes to the interface. Any rate, about an hours work attached {link removed} (it's misnamed on purpose) - translated the korean (couldn't figure out how to use online translators on the chinese one as it's saved/loading in ascii instead of unicode, so it seems a few words are phonetic equivalents to the chinese) to engrish, couldn't get it to work with the app so no real revisions to grammar and such. (btw: this is on vista64, going to go over to xp to double check.)

    Thanks wannya, this is an impressive tool that I wish I understood even google-translated partially.

    I will expand on what wannya said for others.
    Nef files are a format used by the no$gba emulator to define certain commands; as many will be aware the GBA and DS map various important things to the bus such as graphical data. Such things are largely automated in commercial roms owing to the nitroSDK and as such can be pulled apart.

    Essentially it is a lookup list of commands and that makes it about the closest thing we will ever get to a decompiler for the DS.

    @nIxx there is no English translation right now. You can have a look at some of my old stuff but as I said it was made for considerably older versions (originally a 2007 version if I recall correctly although it may have been older) and every change makes it work on less and less of the app not to mention technical talk in Chinese is about as hard as sounds).

    You can grab it here:
    http://www.4shared.com/get/40301118/fd9a4a...taltile2ft.html

    If you want to work what I have done already into something extra feel free to.

    FAST6191: my translation is OK once wannya pointed out LCID is used, it's not perfect but it is mostly english (as I wasn't able to test it yesterday). I will try to work on it some more today as well as see if I can add back in your previous fields/findings [IMG]
    Perfect, thank you wannya! I did not know it was LCID not Codepage. If "4105.lng" (or, "%s.lng") text could be added to the about box, maybe it would help others?

    edit:/ OK, another hour and a half, I've done as many menus as I can handle, the status bar and other messages are still rather untranslated, FAST contributed by giving me english to at least 5 or 20 menu items I had no idea how to find in the program let alone translate - far, far from perfect as is but very manageable no less.

    Engrish lng file
    You'll have to figure out what your code page is based on the links FAST6191 posted above, and as mentioned above use the LCID decimal value [IMG]

    Thanks yet again wannya! Thanks FAST6191 (though I didn't/couldn't use much, it helped quit alot)! If someone without exhausted time/patience feels like cleaning up the status/popup texts, feel free [IMG]

    I had a quick scan through and loaded it up, nice work cory1492.
    I will test it properly later as it seems to be 3:00am again. Now the monster effort has been done cleaning up and updating should be easy enough to do.

    Oh I was going to translate it from Chinese to English as soon as I found my LCID, seems you were faster than me cory1492.

    Bug report. I get crashing when trying to disassemble 3242-Amazing_Adventures

    Other disassembly works (tetrisDS) but this does not.
    Sometimes it loads the window, it almost crashes when I try to maximise the disassembly view (crashes if I maximise it beforehand)

    tested with and without translation
    deleted ini file
    tested clean extraction
    with and without your example nef file in the path of directories
    all files on the root of a drive

    for what it is worth the windows bug report

    This was also in the previous ones, but when you load a .pac file, then if the file system is different from what crystaltile2 supports, then it crashes.
