how come everytime i adjust wiiflow coverflow it never saves
all I can suggest is if you continue having the problem to bump your detailed post regarding the issue and tag one of the WiiFlow devs to see if they can provide some insight. I think when u go to edit the coverflow it always starts out with a default 16:9 view but I'm not sure. Asking around the IRC is a surefire way to find out too since lots of themers hang out and might be able to answer that question as well.

Thank you to everybody who has worked on this. I installed the latest "wii flow master pack." For the most part everything is going good. I've loaded the 'shrunken spine" wii flow recommended edition of the covers for NES and N64 and the covers look great. However on Sega Genesis, and SNES, the image of front/spine/back squeezes all into the main image, rather than wrapping around nicely, and showing the front, and then the back when you click on the game. Anybody have any idea of what I could be doing wrong? Thank you.

Edit:
Here's an image of what I'm talking about: (image is big)

Edit 2:

Found the problem! I edited the wiiflow.ini and made use custom covers hq=YES from no, and changed the cover buffer from 20 to 40. Again, thank you all contributors to this project, this is very cool.

Alright, its taken me a few days, but this thread's been pretty entertaining: we've had a few panties in a twist, some excitedly premature posts (better asked elsewhere) & a lot of great collaboration!
First off, a MASSIVE thanks to MasterShoes for putting together & managing this project superbly, & ToddofWar420--the two of you (almost?) single-handedly carried the first year's-worth of content yourselves! And especially, thanks to Fix94 and ALL the others that've made Wiiflow such a voluptuous beauty!

Like a lot of others, I was suckered into a waiting game by the 'Download' covers button, too...heh heh, I had just finished figuring out how to get my GC ISOs & Dios Mios working & the covers downloaded no problem, so when I went to do the same w/ my SNES ROMs, I didn't know what was wrong. After the third or fourth 5-minute try, I started to catch on. Some digging lead me to this fantastic thread, so I thought, "my worries are over!" What a DUMMY!
So after manually d/l & renaming w/ Fuzzy (which still needs work: Top Gear 1, 2 & 3000 are covered w/ 1's cover; Romancing Saga 1, 2 & 3 all have 3's cover; same with Mega Man X, Mortal Kombat & Rot3K; & Battle Blaze, Battle Cars & Battle Clash all got Clash's cover, among others; didn't match my 'AD&D - Eye of the Beholder' or my 'Arcade's Greatest Hits' to 'William's Arcade's Greatest Hits'--helpful, but maybe TOO fuzzy..) and booting into Wiiflow, I watched as it filled its cache--how flippin awesome! I have all my...wait, about...half my games covered..uhhh....
I got to thinking: in the abcense of any ROM cover download functionality, what'd help is a function that states to the user, "I'm unable to find new covers. However, if you've manually added them to the USB or SD, Wiiflow can automatically search for them. Would you like me to try?" & present the user w/ 3 options: Auto Search, Browse, or Cancel. It could then search only for jpg, png, etc. When ROM cover downloads become live in Wiiflow, then this'd act as a great backup in the case of bad dump/crc not matching up, allowing the user to stay a noob & have his cake, too.

Here's my problem: I'm blanking anal. Honestly, a bit pathetic, but I'm friggen obsessed: feels like I can't get on w/ my life until I can browse my SNES ROMs w/o a generic box!
So I decided to make 'em. I completed 13 before deciding to troll the thread, so of course they're all shrunken spine style. Nevertheless, here they are:

I've been using Paint.NET: its free & WAY better than MS Paint (blending, transparency, brighten via hue saturation, de-noise, etc). I've learned a lot with these 13, so I'll go back after a bit & perfect them. First, however, I'd like any & all input: any tips, what can be improved, what's just not somehow right, what's flat out horrible, etc. MasterShoes, ToddofWar420, Tetsuo Shima, sion_zaphod, MassiveRican, hell any & everyone w/ constructive criticism: feel free to comment.
I'm committed to (mostly) completing the SNES set. I won't be wasting my time on the crappy games like Barbie (a REAL man shows off his play count on this one to his friends!) ;.j Captain Novolin (let's teach our kids RESPONSIBLE syringe use!) or Corn Buster; nor sports titles--'cause I'm a real geek: RPGs like FF3 kept me busy in high school (girls? pft! Kefka's been BEGGING for a beating!)

@MasterShoes-I'll get standard spines of these to ya next, then include both w/ each new one I send your way. Also, what are the dimensions of the standard spines? My understanding is:
Shrunken: 680x515
spine: 680x60
Standard: 680x???
spine: 680x???
Front ONLY: 680x484

@drakorex--if you're planning a store-front similar to XBMC's browse & download/auto-install Plugin SVN, that'll be sweet!!! Maybe it'll even facilitate auto updates someday!

So these are on my list; I MOST CERTAINLY could use help! My biggest problem is getting quality images to touch up, brighten & assemble. I've sourced more than half of the 250 I have left, but NONE are 680 pixels wide or better, so they get a little fuzzy when finished. The best I've come across sit at gameFAQs or MobiGames, and are 640 pixels... HyperSpin had a complete set, but the best I found there were only 475 px wide (maybe I missed a better set), so I could definitely use better source images.

It already is updatable, by shortcutting to an ever updated zip of shortcuts. The main holdup on my part is a lack of free time, as I'm the only one doing covers so far. If you know anyone who has a desire to do some covers, send them my way ;)

Cypher16 I seen u lurking for a while and figured that u actually read this thread from the start. I only do that with topics I'm really into so I can already tell your hardcore committed.

First off I'd like to say welcome to the temp, that's a terrific firs post as a user, and thank u, cuz I too am anal about seeing generic covers on my SNES flow and what I've done is simply separate any roms that don't have covers and place them in their own folder. As covers are made I put them in the folder with the rest of the roms that WiiFlow sees in it's plugin ini. It's a system that's worked rather well for me, but I must say you're recent endeavor into the SNES cover fray has got me about excited as a schoolgirl can get (w/o the squealing).

Unfortunately I'm internet-less until October 21st, a date AT&T has so graciously provided me with spewing nonsense like "it's our earliest installation date" considering I fulfilled my order on the 6th of October. Point being I won't be able to neither d/load or see in WiiFlow your recent labor of love with the covers as with many other posts recently, so I have no feedback for u just yet, however from the looks of the thumbnails I'd say they look fantastic, but mostly you'll want to hear from Mastershoes or TOW420, other cover artists like yourself no a fanboy like me :P lol

MS is really busy IRL lately but he'll come around and I'm sure he will appreciate your enthusiasm and level of quality in your cover work. With that said I know you'll be busy with the SNES covers but if u have some free time to take on a cover or two every so often I'd love to invite you to join Drakorex's team which is putting FlowMart together. If you're interested shoot me a PM ;) looking forward to more of your stuff bro. Happy holidays to all, although WTF is Colombus day anyway lol.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
