Hacking Converting Metroid Prime Trilogy save to NTSC

I want to convert my PAL MPT save for the NTSC version as I'm selling my physical copy which is the PAL version and my digital copy is NTSC.
I'm told I just need to change a few bytes, but there's no tutorials on how to change the bytes or extract the data.bin. I 2 versions of tried FE100 which refused to run and a Xenoblade save tool (designed specifically to unpack and repack xenoblade saves) but that refused to unpack a data.bin where it couldn't detect xenoblade save files

I do not have homebrew installed on either of my Wii Us and do not wish to install it.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
