I have a soft-moded Wii Mini with d2xl-v1-beta2 (cIOS base 57, cIOS Slot 249) and I'm having issues trying to play Metroid Prime Trilogy. When I try to select the individual games in the Metroid Prime Trilogy menu the game gets stuck at the loading screen. Should I change any options on the loader (I'm using USB Loader Gx last version). Does this game work on wii mini at all? Thanks in advance.

I'm not really sure but I've tried several roms and none seems to work. What's weird is that I can get to the game selecting menu and when I try to load individuals games the stuck at, for example, Loading Metroid Prime... screen. I couldn't find the option to select altdol either.

Post a syscheck here.
Also what drive are you using, usb kr external hdd? Is it plugged into port 0?
Also i recommend using this version of usbloadergx.
I also recommend trying with Wiiflow Lite, you might have better luck with it..
If neither options above fix this issue, you should check the hash of the game in WiiBackupManager, since it dual layer dvd game the wbfs had to be split into 2 if your drive is fat32 formatted, and they could be corrupt if not made/ transferred properly.

no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
